Eh, from where I stand it's not any worse than telling a child that there's a God who doesn't want them to masturbate, and he's watching them all the time, and if they touch themselves it's more likely they'll burn in the fires of Hell for all eternity.

A lot of people are crazy. So a lot of kids have crazy parents. And it's fine. As long as they don't get hormones involved.

I won't argue that point. Both are abusive. And most kids turn out fine with the latter, but some turn into perverts... Agree that it's not nearly as bad as giving them puberty blockers, hormones, or surgery.
