Just another scam to implement the NWO. Now they can pretend to save mankind from climate change by giving everyone a carbon limit. They can pretend to save mankind from pandemics by seizing and injecting livestock and implementing a vaccine passport. They can pretend to save mankind from war (which they are trying to ignite) by creating a one world government. They will pretend to save mankind from terrorism and religious fundamentalism by implementing a one world religion.

All it takes to see the obvious is to look at the evidence and think (like knowing that an appeal to scientific consensus is an appeal to authority). Ignore the press and think for yourself. It is too hard for many to realize that the media’s true purpose is not to inform but to ensure uniformity of opinion. The masses don’t understand that a handful of rich men control what we think about current events. They're too busy with bread and circuses to think and try to understand what's happening.

Taking care of the environment is good, but most of what is happening is the end of days but the liars have given the name ‘climate change’ to it, and almost nobody is the wiser, because they now have a scientific label for natural disasters increasing (so they don't realize they are judgments of God for sin). Ever wonder how it would be possible for people to live through the apocalypse and still not repent and be completely shocked when Jesus arrives?

Of course Climate Change is real...most people just call it the weather though

Solar panels and wind turbines last 20 years max, and are not generally recyclable.

Why are wind and solar bad? How are they harmful and expensive?

Wind does kill lots of animals, but isn't it less amount killed by fossil fuels? Especially the pollution. The chance of solar panels causing fire is very very low. I think natural gas should be only temporary.

I think it's fairly clear that climate change is happening, and that humans are accelerating it, but the problem does feel a little overwhelming to solve without reducing global consumption.

The West gets a lot of bad press for their emissions, and that's somewhat fair when the US is responsible for 25% of all historic carbon emissions. But China is the real problem here, they have emitted as much carbon in 8 years as the UK has emitted ever so there seems no point fiddling around reducing little bits here and there.

That's not to mention all the microplastics, diesel fumes, coal particulates that are also destroying the environment.

      [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

but the problem does feel a little overwhelming to solve without reducing global consumption.

We aren't ever going to reduce consumption or pollutants to a sustainable level with 8 billion humans on the planet. Population greatly changes the acceptable level of per capita impact, but nobody likes talking about that half of the equation

But China is the real problem here,

Perfect example, their per capita carbon emissions are lower than Americans, much lower actually, the problem is there are 1.3 billion of them

      [–]bife_de_lomo 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, I'm with you on that one too. I didn't necessarily specify reducing per-capita consumption or total global consumption, but clearly both play a part and population numbers are part of it.

Which is why it seems like an insurmountable problem at the moment.

Haha, yeah sorry, didn't mean to come off as accusatory, just got a little too excited to discuss these issues in a context that isn't arguing about whether or not climate change is a hoax

      [–]chottohen 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

Yes, you are right. I've been at the Beijing airport and you can see a dome of pollution over the city.——If global warming were true no one could get a housing loan, not that I want one. So, why, for the love of weed, are you against the GOP? I don't love the GOP but it's much better than that fucking clown B.

      [–]8thmonitor[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

GOP and Dems are both horrible. At least Dems support renewable energy. I have no idea why Trump and others are so anti-renewable and pro-coal that they lie about renewable. Ffs Trump said that windmills cause cancer. What?

      [–]chottohen 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I agree that it is a waste of time to concentrate on Dems and Reps. Right now the activities of the two political parties, since they exist to make you believe their are only two choices, but right now the Dems are particularly reprehensible. Sure the Dems give lip service to renewable energy while sending bombs, rockets, and billions of dollars for a psyop war.

Explain the heatwave from this year and the significantly more chaotic weather.

      [–]Canbot 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Explain the insanely cold weather we are having right now.

Why is it with people like you that all weather, hot and cold, always seems to prove global warming. Then you still have the audacity to call people stupid when they mock global warming when it gets cold? You have zero self awareness.

      [–]DerpDerp3001 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

"Explain the insanely cold weather we are having right now."

You know that the world is a linked sytem with parts affecting other parts. Global warming doesn't really affect the Earth like "It's just a little warmer this year." It leads to more chaotic weather. The cold is due to the jet stream not being where it should be which is a result of a warmer arctic (mainly due to milder Arctic winds).

Here's a chart of what is going on: https://insideclimatenews.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Polar-Vortex529px.png

If you look at a graph OF THE MEAN TEMPERATURE (caps for emphasis so you won't gloss over this) you will find out that the Earth is warming ON AVERAGE. https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/ContentFeature/GlobalWarming/images/giss_temperature.png

(I wish Reddit would become bonkers strict so that only the lefties remain on that site.)

      [–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It leads to more chaotic weather.

This is an entirely unscientific claim. That same exact claim was made about global cooling. If you try to track server weather patterns there is no trend, let alone one that correlates to global temperature.

It's just another example of "derp derp everything is proof of global warming"

      [–]DerpDerp3001 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I am studying in a (conservative) university and I am studying climate science.

"That same exact claim was made about global cooling." Yes, that is true, but that doesn't mean that the other is false. Any sudden change in temperature will cause chaotic weather. Like if we had a nuclear war or a supervolcanic eruption we would experience global cooling with similar effects.

Sorry but no. Mark my words.

Did you just completely ignore the graph? You must have your head that far up your butt to not acknowledge it. What information would I give you to prove for it to exist?

I now have an entire swiss army knife of debunks to disprove anything that you say.

Are you saying that your college is more credible on climate science because it is conservative?

Do you know what an appeal to authority is?

Any sudden change in temperature will cause chaotic weather.

Sudden change in temperature is called weather. Weather is not climate. It seems your education is very poor because this is something you should have learned on day one.

I now have an entire swiss army knife of debunks to disprove anything that you say.

What you have is a mountain of propaganda you never questioned because you are a sheep who thinks any information that comes from authority must be true. So any time your beliefs are debunked you continue being a true believer like any brainwashes cultist because you can never wrap your tiny brain around the idea that all of it is bullshit. No matter how much of your bullshit is destroyed, in your mind there is still a mountain left proving your beliefs.

I do care about the environment, but with the 'climate change', it's an other story. https://www.ff.org/study-earth-was-warmer-in-roman-and-medieval-times/

      [–]SoCo 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I believe climate change is real, as it is always changing, with at minimum 100K year, 20K year, 12K year, and 10K year overlapping cycles impacting it. Earth's climate has always been changing and life has always had to adapt or die.

I believe global warming is true and man-made, but it has nothing to do with fossil fuels; It is due to concrete. We've covered the world with concrete, trapping heat. We have no accurate reading of surface temperature due to 90% of our huge network of weather reading stations being out of specification and reading trapped heat from concrete and building with 30 feet of the station. We then building a system over top of that, designed to use the bad data. Luckily, we are topped out at as hot as it should ever be naturally already, so there isn't much more space to go up in temperature, but that is a bad thing...

I do believe we need to stop using oil, because we are due to begin the next ice age sometime in the next 2 to 10 thousand years. It will last many 10's of thousands of years and humanity will require as much oil as possible to increase its chances of surviving the prolonged cold.

Most global warming/climate change actions right now are deceptive and short sighted get-rich schemes, coupled with monopolistic regulatory captures, like carbon-tax pay-to-pollute scams, with zero realistic impact. Stupid hairless monkeys naively think they could have control over the massive and complex climate system they don't understand even the tinniest bit about.

      and some nuclear

You must realize that the productuon of solar panels and wind turbines is unsustainable. It will not become a solution in the near futrure through innovation. It is all a money grab. It is a billion dollar a year scam to create a market for products no one would buy if not for the propaganda and government subsidies.

The solutuon to carbon pollution is nuclear. Do you support a full transition into nuclear?

To me it doesn't matter if climate change is real or not. Every white person on earth could off themselves tonight and it would make zero difference in climate change. Plus events will happen in the next 25, 50, 100, 1,000 years out of our control (volcanos, asteroids, solar flares) that would hugely impact the climate in totally unknown ways.

Its fine to work to reduce reliance on coal, etc, but no need to be drastic. These people in the UK crying about climate change destroying their future? Their future is much more likely to be destroyed by what the climate change cultists want to do than if we changed absolutely nothing.

Having said that, we should all be growing food in our gardens, consuming less stuff we don't need, exercising, eating better, and conserving as much as we possibly can. Most people are selfish though and won't do that. It's hard to accomplish without trashing people's freedoms. And once you accept trashing freedoms, you have no freedoms at all and that to me is also worse.
