Explain the insanely cold weather we are having right now.

Why is it with people like you that all weather, hot and cold, always seems to prove global warming. Then you still have the audacity to call people stupid when they mock global warming when it gets cold? You have zero self awareness.

You know that the world is a linked sytem with parts affecting other parts. Global warming doesn't really affect the Earth like "It's just a little warmer this year." It leads to more chaotic weather. The cold is due to the jet stream not being where it should be which is a result of a warmer arctic (mainly due to milder Arctic winds).

If you look at a graph OF THE MEAN TEMPERATURE (caps for emphasis so you won't gloss over this) you will find out that the Earth is warming ON AVERAGE. https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/ContentFeature/GlobalWarming/images/giss_temperature.png

This is an entirely unscientific claim. That same exact claim was made about global cooling. If you try to track server weather patterns there is no trend, let alone one that correlates to global temperature.

It's just another example of "derp derp everything is proof of global warming"

"That same exact claim was made about global cooling." Yes, that is true, but that doesn't mean that the other is false. Any sudden change in temperature will cause chaotic weather. Like if we had a nuclear war or a supervolcanic eruption we would experience global cooling with similar effects.

Sudden change in temperature is called weather. Weather is not climate. It seems your education is very poor because this is something you should have learned on day one.

Remember that the record for temperatures have been broken this year? The previous record in my area was 99 F while it became 104 F?
