So Trump wants to clean out all the corrupt employees and politicians who have turned against our country, giving a ton of power and wealth to themselves, billionaire's, and corporations, and return our government back to what it was supposed to be.... And that's a bad thing? It's been made obviously clear that the current globalist agenda is anti human and especially anti basic human rights. O'Bidens presicendy has made that painfully clear.

Seems you've been on another planet and did not notice that he's one of the top 3 most corrupt presidents in US history, as has been his family and associates.

Only thing corrupt is your entire political system. People were so against government, that they voted a man in to help clean up the political corruption, and tried to run a country like a business. Then the political apparatus went for Trump, and fools like your got in line and started towing the political swamp's line. Lying about anything he said or did. You became "the man". You became the political corruption.

You're a fool.

This is one of the dumbest, brainwashed comments on Saidit, and I see that someone voted on it. Read about Trump and his associates, ffs. Try to think. He's always been a fraud, and his supporters are obviously complete idiots.

He’s not a boy-scout, but given the level of corruption in the government, there’s nothing he’s doing that other people in government are not doing.

There’s the revolving door between lobbyists and congress. The Congress member serves his real masters well, and he gets a cushy $20 million dollars a years job doing practically nothing. Insider stock trading just goes with the territory in Congress, which is how they managed to sell their stocks and buy better ones before Covid. The Biden stuff isn’t even that unusual, most children of the government can make millions selling access.

So even if Trump is corrupt, there’s not much difference, except that he doesn’t do it quietly while selling us out. He exposed it, and he might well be better positioned to fix it simply because he knows how these games are played.

[–]cunninglingus[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

MAGAtards here want him to clean the swamp while also overlooking his serious corruption and failures as a president. He focused only on grift and shit-talking while in office, while also doing whatever Putin, McConnell, and other corrupt assholes wanted. He's also unusual for his numerous criminal charges and for his treason against the us. He's literally a terrorist. You've not offered any arguments for electing him. When in office he made your life worse, and some of those problems will continue.

next you'll bring up russia and say they helped trump win the election, ignoring how israel bribes all politicians and owns the media.

Only if I were to go off topic, but now that you mention it, notice that Saidit is often complaining about the New World Order or the World Economic Forum. Well, who are those folks? A wealthy network to which Putin, his cronies in in Russia, his cronies in Israel, and Trump's investors, Kushner family's investors, Saudi investors, Chinese investors, Qatar and UAE investors, investors in news media, investors in Big Oil, Big Medical, etc., etc., they're all connected. Putin's links with Israel investors and more recently with Chinese government investment are well known, as is his connection to Cambridge Analytica and other misinformation propaganda on social media that helped elect Trump. Half of all internet activity is with bots. Trump and this wealthy network (to which some other politicans are connected) attack democracy. Many in the GOP know they'll lose if he runs for president. I hope he does run.

No administration has replaced 50K federal workers.

Perhaps also to your point:

Trump appointed 54 federal appellate judges in four years, one short of the 55 Obama appointed in twice as much time.

This is really easy to stop. If people would just hire the best candidate for jobs and NOT biased bullshit check boxes, anti-checkboxes, political crap, or religious crap..... then this would not happen from EITHER side. And is the right REALLY so stupid as to think if they make this president, that the left will not do the same? Why are these two parties so dangerously short sighted?

[–]TaseAFeminist4Jesus 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

Someone who "doesn't know what a woman is" is likely never the best person for any job.

[–]BobOki 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Someone else did this same stupid. Where in the hell did I say this is how it is currently done? No, I said the way to fix it is to hire the best candidate for the job, the most qualified, etc.... no where did I talk about anything else. Shit man, "WOMAN" is not even once in this article.

But, because you have not been rude yet, I will retort. If a woman is never qualified in a specific field, then how would a person who "doesn't know what a woman is" relevant? One does not need to know what a woman is to hire a qualified man, and there are quite a few fields that ONLY men do, and others that women refuse to do as it is 'beneath them."

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Ok. An adult female human being. next? Gender is intrinsically linked to sex, one does not exist without the other, so anyone trying to say otherwise should probably know they are STILL conforming to the sexes, because the sexes are how you act and dress. Sorry, none of you will change the world on this one, no one sane buys that crap, and you will be known in history as the most delusional generation.

And this right here is why we will never be able to hire a person on their skills alone because you guys have no concept of anything BUT ideology, and the other half anything BUT politics. RIP.

Lol you think the lunatic right wingers are okay with "big government" as long as the hires are all...masters degrees? No - as the link shows, if you read it - they have to be virtue signallers to trumpworld. You cannot just be a highly qualified government employee who was hired on merit - you also HAVE to be aligned with trump. That's what this story is about

Why are these two parties so dangerously short sighted?

I only read about one party's plan for taking office, in the link we're commenting on

[–]BobOki 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Did I say I thought any of that, or are you just projecting?

From what you said, I can infer that the right is just following what the left has been doing for about 4 years now, and that is only hiring who they want. From Disney, or Best Buy, to Starbucks... and plenty more, have wanted to hire minorities only, some, like Best Buy, are even flat out open about it and no one on the left was throwing baby hissy fits like you are now. So the right is insane, no argument there, but you are a partisan hack, ideolog, and idiot if you think the left does not do the SAME SHIT as the right, does not give TWO SHITS about the people, and are just in it to make the rich richer.

If the left is so awesome, where are the laws against insider trading? How about discrimination hiring, lowering their ever rising paychecks (of which they get yearly and sometimes twice a year raises), banning first past the post, adopting an actual democratic voting system such as weighted, healthcare for all, standing up for the rights of all (not just minorities), etc. I think you will find that you "party" there does what politicians have always done. NOTHING but talk. They know full well anything they would pass would affect their own bottom line or their ability to have the monopoly on politics in America they enjoy with the collusion both parties do to enrich themselves. The right may be pieces of shit that hate womens rights and hide behind religion to pass shit laws, but at least they wear what they are on their sleeves, not lie to everyone and act like they give two shits, whereas the left cannot even be honest about that, as they are not honest with ANYTHING they say.

I am a fuck both parties type of guy because both parties are the WORST this country has to offer when it comes to radicalization, but I will be damned if I just sit back and let people be delusional and think their own shit doesn't stink while they walk around covered in it and are told by the other lunatics covered in shit that they are helping others. Get real, get off the political/ideological mind rotting drug, NONE of these guys even know you exist and would not even glance at you if you were bleeding in the streets calling out for help, stop thinking it is anything other than that.

[–]Site_rly_sux 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Did I say I thought any of that, or are you just projecting?

You said,

If people would just hire the best candidate for jobs and NOT biased bullshit check boxes, anti-checkboxes, political crap, or religious crap..... then this would not happen

So yeah it's exactly what you said.

My point is that - no, it wouldn't stop happening if only all the hires were 100% merit based. Because then, like we see in the link, anyone who doesn't cleave to trump's worldview is dangerous to the 50k lunatics in the OP story.

From what you said, I can infer that the right is just following what the left has been doing for about 4 years now, and that is only hiring who they want

That's not in the link. Source something if you want me to believe it's a real phenomenon.

If the left is so awesome, where are the laws against insider trading?

What does that have to do with anything? We're discussing the OP story.

Did you think insider trading is legal?!

think their own shit doesn't stink

Where did I identify myself with any side of this argument lol? It's a story about trump and the right wing. You can click it and read it yourself, don't just believe me.

When you reply to a story about trump saying "so both sides are bad" and someone corrects you that this is a story about trump - I'm not claiming either side. I'm not saying anyone's shit doesn't stink. I'm simply correcting your false misinformation that this story somehow reflects badly on the democratic party

Okay back on topic.

You said that you think this wouldn't happen, if only all the federal government hires were 100% merit based.

So I want to hear from you: do you truly believe that (after reading the OP link) that if the federal government employees were all merit based, then trump wouldn't be looking to sack everyone and replace them with loyalist.

Actually - do you believe all 50k on the list are merit-based and planned to be in a position suitable for their skills?

Did you think that trump is compiling a list of 50k competent individuals without reference to their political leanings? Is anyone on that list who doesn't support trump, do you think?

[–]BobOki 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Man I am not going to read your wall-o-text when the VERY FIRST POINT is the opposite of what you are arguing. I said the way to fix this is to hire the best candidate, I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HOW THE SHIT CURRENTLY IS DONE and stop saying I am, and using logical fallacies to act like you are right. That right there is the Equivocation fallacy and I go FULL STOP when someone has to stoop so low just to try and argue (not debate, that has decorum) something when they are wrong.

Looking at your post history you seem to do nothing but ARGUE, not debate, with others, gaslight and straw man them, cry victim, and otherwise troll. Consider yourself blocked, you have nothing useful to bring to this site, go back to Reddit where your circle jerk is wanted.

[–]Site_rly_sux 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

So am I blocked or not?

I said the way to fix this is to hire the best candidate, I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HOW THE SHIT CURRENTLY IS DONE

Let's check again

This is really easy to stop. If people would just hire the best candidate for jobs and NOT biased bullshit check boxes, anti-checkboxes, political crap, or religious crap..... then this would not happen from EITHER side.

It's really easy to stop trump from making a list of 50k loyalists - the federal government just needs to hire based on merit. And then trump would not try to replace 50k people with his loyalists.

That's what you said.

Okay so...trump wouldn't make a list of 50k loyalists, if federal employees were hired based on merit.

  1. Do you think trump's list are assigned positions according to their merit?

  2. Do you think trump's list are politically neutral individuals?

  3. Do you really think "this is really easy to stop" - do you really think that trumptards would have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with big government if only all the hires were merit-based?

You seem to have your head in your ass. Go ahead and block me then, dipshit

[–]cunninglingus[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

head in your ass

He do - by arguing with the help of false statements that change the topic somewhat, rather than by providing logical arguments that are on topic and backing those up with reliable evidence. Congratulations on your patience with all that.

[–]wristaction 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

No. It is a zero-sum game. Either you occupy positions of authority, establish and enforce norms according to your coalition's values, interests and principles, or the far left does. There never were "neutral" institutions and the meme that they were geometrically neutral, apolitical institutions owned by no one in particular is how they came to be bloodlessly conquered by far-left psychos.

[–]BobOki 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You are the second person in a row that has commented back with nothing but political responses. I am not so sure why people have a hard time understanding a "perfect scenario", not a attainable one. It IS real easy to stop, just do what I said. That won't happen, EVER, but it is quite easy.

Even the name "Dark" Right-Wing was conceived to cast doubt and suspicion and make you think of the SS.

[–]cunninglingus[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think Herrig is referring to a kind of SS. 'Dark' is a quote of Herrig:

"It would allow far-right groups like Heritage and the Conservative Partnership Institute to implement their dangerous wish lists with no regard for everyday Americans."

"The project — and the dark network propping it up — must be held accountable for their efforts to undermine our democracy."

A dark network is also a kind of secret network, much like the reference to the dark web.

No

Was going into office with no political machine backing him up not the fundamental error of his first term?

If this is in reference to Trump, the way he was guided to mention overturning Roe v. Wade at a debate with Hilary, which made him a contender (though he was never previously against R v W, nor was he religious in any manner), and the way he was pushed toward nomination, and the way in which misinformation and other forms of manipulation, and CNN's daily quote of him, and A LOT of support by the 'political machine' made him the GOP puppet that would result in one of the biggest cash grabs by them in centuries. He absolutely had that political support.

trump would do all the same as in his first term. It'd just be good to get more supreme court justices

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

well nothing in the constitution says supreme court has to be 9 people. it could be added to. dems could do it if they had the votes, but they probably don't, and also they know then repubs would do it when they have the presidency and the votes. that's real problem with it.

[–]twolanterns 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

but tradition has it so and if any such change it was changed there would have to be a very long delay to prevent what FDR wanted to do (for which both dems and repubs went to him and told him that if he tried it he would be dead very quick)

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

no FDR threatened to do it cuz supreme court was saying the new deal was unconstitutional. But after he threatened that they changed their mind and allowed it. Otherwise he can and would have added some justices.

[–]twolanterns 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

very long delay to prevent what FDR wanted to do

which is that unconstitutional shit FDR and his lefties were after getting foisted on the US

and no FDR probably would have been killed very quick

a bunch of his legislation WAS overturned as unconstitutional

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

thing is if it was unconstitutional, what can we do if supreme court says it isn't? They made some deal with them, probably bribes under the table. Or threats. I know wikipedia lies but it is interesting to see what the MSM account of history says:

As a result, the Court continued to enforce a Federal laissez-faire approach, overturning many of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal programs, which were designed to combat the Great Depression, by 5–4 margins. Most notably, the National Industrial Recovery Act was overturned unanimously in Schechter Poultry Corp. v. United States (1935), and the Agricultural Adjustment Act was struck down in United States v. Butler (1936).

In response, President Roosevelt proposed the Judiciary Reorganization Bill (called the "court-packing bill" by its opponents) in 1937, which would have increased the size of the Supreme Court and permitted the appointment of an additional justice for each incumbent justice who reached the age of 70 years and 6 months and refused retirement; under Roosevelt's proposal, such appointments would continue until the Court reached a maximum size of 15 justices. Ostensibly, the proposal was made to ease the burdens of the docket on the elderly justices, but Roosevelt's actual purpose was to pack the Court with justices who would support his New Deal policies and legislation. The plan quickly drew bipartisan opposition, including from Roosevelt's own vice president John Nance Garner, and it failed in Congress.[15][16]

Soon afterward, however, the ideological balance of the Supreme Court that had prevailed since Lochner began to shift. Justice Roberts, who had previously voted with the conservative bloc in invalidating New Deal legislation, began to vote on the opposite side. Roberts' decision spelled the end of the Lochner era and has been dubbed the "switch in time that saved nine." The balance of the Court shifted with the retirement of Justice Van Devanter 1937 and of Justice Sutherland the following year, while Justice Butler died in November 1939. By the end of 1941, Roosevelt had appointed seven Supreme Court justices and elevated Harlan Fiske Stone to chief justice.[17]

Biden demanded all federal workers go back to working in the office, rather than remotely, and mandated the Covid death-shots for federal workers. It was reported that about half of all the federal workers were looking for other work after this.

Biden has stuffed most of the federal workers with unqualified people for demographic statistics.. There is also likely 50K empty federal position still.

One of Trump's biggest mistakes of his first presidency, was having no cabinet ready. He was tricked into appointing Democrat tools to many, which later turned on him, of course. He was swarmed with corrupt Democrat and Republican pecker-heads, whom made him seem involved. Such as the actual people charged with Russian impropriety after the 2016 election investigations, which were long time Democrat lackeys.

None of this is the job of the President. He's not an evil mastermind. All of this is disinformation and GOP propaganda.

More obvious lies.

One of Trump's biggest mistakes of his first presidency, was having no cabinet ready.

No - his biggest mistake was creating widespread hatred and division in the US. The fucker. Traitor.

He was tricked into appointing Democrat tools to many, which later turned on him, of course.

More lies.

He was swarmed with corrupt Democrat and Republican pecker-heads, whom made him seem involved.

Certainly not. His sole interest was: grifting and sowing division.

Such as the actual people charged with Russian impropriety after the 2016 election investigations, which were long time Democrat lackeys.

Absolutely not.

SoCo - all of this is disinformation, broadcast and posted 24/7 by wealthy propaganda networks making simps out of MAGAtards. Don't be a sucker. Only a small number of Americans believe this stuff, and they're generally understood as complete idiots.
