The entire non-binary robot thing is funny. Objectively, robots are nonbinary.

Transformers seems like the most obvious vector for this; given robots can't have sex, or children.

But, anthropomorphic gender robots (Transformers) were a tool for the militarization of the youth, and I loved that shit.
I even liked the sexy female robots, but I'd never buy one.

I agree that this is a way to mess with children's minds, but it's the human characters that do the damage.

The genderless robot is the most normal of the robots, which is very funny.

I'm completely opposed to the gender brainwashing of children. I'm opposed to brainwashing in public schools. All of that.

But I have to laugh at the plight of the only normal robot of the series, and this unfortunate robot's odd circumstances; being surrounded by brainwashed humans who reject their own biology.
