No, it's because all problems facing humanity would literally not be problems anymore with a population level appropriate to our habitable territory. Look out a plane window and you'll see vast areas of the surface converted to industrial food production. Water use is restricted because there are now too many people for the supply. Population concentrations like NYC, LA, and Chicago exist...

I want my pension when I turn old. Boomers got to retire with million dollar homes they bought while working for minimum wage, yet I'm still forced to work to cover this for them. There will have to be another generation ready so I get the same thing in the future.

North America collapsing would be a good thing. Most liberals and their feral pets live in the cities. They fear venturing out into the countryside because all the scary "racists" live there. Given how big and spacious Canada & the U.S are, it will be very easy for those remote communities to maintain their own farms, and defend their families.
