Why do you want Europe to revert to being a continent of petty nation-states who are squabbling with each other?

EU courts force LGBT and refugees on Eastern Europe. The EU bank uses its monetary powers to blackmail eastern Europe to embrace globohomo as well and countries in western Europe as well. Brussels is the world's second-largest hive of leftist NGOs and think tanks after New York. The sooner it meets the dust, the better.

There's no need for an EU. France, Germany, the low countries, and Italy can simply have a normal military alliance. Call it the Rhine alliance if you will. This alliance would have a population of 230 million and a GDP of over 8 trillion dollars. That's enough to field a superpower military. France and Germany at this very moment have joint military projects like a 6th gen fighter.

What would be the point, use and benefit of a "military alliance"? It's not 1914. A united Europe is a much more sensible option, although the EU specifically is an objectively terrible, destructive and ill-conceived institution.

do you think the EU could be fixed rather than just abandoned?

Yes.

I'd rather it not be fixed, once you remove the international liberalism from it there's nothing left. If you want a united Europe, it should happen through a pan-European nationalist approach, not this anti-human dystopia they have now.

nation states squabble but it is a good balance, can't have goldman sachs in charge of all of europe.

I thought you had stopped supporting the EU a while ago? Why do you see the EU as a conducive to European unity?

"Supporting" is a bit of a stretch.
