He's bluffing. If China invaded tomorrow he'd make some statements denouncing it... and that would be all.

For starters, if a genuine war declaration was made America would be immediately plagued by terrorist attacks from the huge 'Chinese-American' population. The civil unrest would be immense, with plenty in the Chinese community and the Far-Left (whether Antifa or the extreme 'progressive' DSA types, whose ranks would fill with young ethnic Chinese) immediately taking to the streets in violent protest.

It would make 2020's protests look like child's play.

Taiwan is responsible for 60% of the world's semiconductor manufacturing. I don't see how China can pull off an invasion without angering every nation on the planet. Especially as we're also in the middle of a global chip shortage.

Lol, what are they going to do? Japan was a much bigger threat in the past, yet the USA was able to round up all Japanese citizens and put them in camps. Chinese Americans are smart, but they were never fighters.

    China will forever suck at war. Their best feat was just zerg rushing U.S troops during the Korean War. But they never showed off any impressive technology or military prowess.

    If anything, the only reason the U.S would lose a war today is because the country has turned into a multicultural nightmare that prevents any national unity. But if it was 80% White or more, China would be blown out of the water.

        They don't, but China has yet to impress me on any emotional or technological level. They can take Taiwan, the same way they took on the Soviet Union or India. By putting up or shutting up.

        The problem is that they NEED Taiwan. It's a matter of survival, if not for the Chinese people, then at least for the Chinese regime. Xi Jinping will not go down quietly.

        In the 50s, the consensus was that the Jews were not a martial race while the Arabs were. The effeminate Jew could never stand up to the martial, masculine Arabs. We found out whether that was the case in the 60s and 70s.

        Just because a nation historically sucked at war, doesn't mean it will always suck at war. The Bulgarians were defeated by the Byzantines and the Turks in the medieval age. They were also a ''loser nation'' by your definition. But then it got independence in 1878 and went on to be known as the Prussia of the Balkans. Repeatedly defeating numerically superior Ottoman and Balkan forces.

        Bad example. Israel literally won a war of independence in 1948, and in 1956, they invaded Egypt (with the help of Britain & France).

        And if the bible stuff is true, Jews and Arabs have been at war with each other for centuries. It wasn't until the Roman Empire had reached the levant and put them both down that things went quiet.

        China's only strength is that they have sheer numbers of soldiers to throw at the enemy. But they never had the capabilities to move them to separate continents.

        During WW2, America had to fight a war on both its shores, as well as landing in Africa and fighting through France to reach Germany. China had never left Asia, and yet their small island neighbor called Japan had successfully beat other European empires and was pushing hard into the Chinese mainland.
