In what way were non white ethnicities necessary for the US to become a super power?

Thanks - though I have responded to this question elsewhere in the thread (and you can read my previous comments). North America has always been rather "mixed", and was especially mixed in the 17th-19th century. That mixed composition contributed to the successes of North Americans, and to the investments that developed then and thereafter.
