UN human rights chief calls for reparations over racism

The United Nations Human Rights Council has called for measures including reparations to "make amends" for racism against people of African descent. Its new report also urges educational reform and apologies to address discrimination. It praises Black Lives Matter and says the group should "receive funding, public recognition and support". The UN Human Rights Council began the report after the 2020 US police murder of George Floyd. The Minnesota man's death sparked worldwide protests against racism. The UN's report is based on discussions with more than 300 experts and people of African descent and seeks to push nations to take actions to end racial injustices. The report concludes that in order to achieve racial justice countries should "make amends for centuries of violence and discrimination through wide-ranging and meaningful initiatives, within and across States, including through formal acknowledgment and apologies, truth-telling processes, and reparations in various forms". In a statement on Monday, UN high commissioner for human rights Michelle Bachelet called "on all states to stop denying - and start dismantling - racism" and to "listen to the voices of people of African descent". Ms Bachelet said reparations must not only be financial in nature, but include other "guarantees" to prevent future injustices. She said: "States must show stronger political will to accelerate action for racial justice, redress and equality through specific, time-bound commitments to achieve results."This will involve reimagining policing, and reforming the criminal justice system, which have consistently produced discriminatory outcomes for people of African descent."

"Human rights" activists are the lowest form of scums (apart from shitlibs) of our nations. They don't give a shit when our people are the victims. Where were they when our people were murdered in South Africa? Where were they when our women were (and still are) raped by third world filth in our own nations?     What are you talking about? Whites made South Africa. Ethiopia used to be white. Northern Africa used to be white.

    Ethiopia probably was never white, but rather a borderland where Caucasians and East-African negroes interbred. As for North Africa, you're more or less right (although it's unclear whether Berbers were ever white in the more narrow sense (xanthochroi), or have always been melanochroi (non-white Caucasians) like they are today), and the dark brown skin and black curly hair a lot of them have today are a result of admixture from the negroes brought in by the Arab slave trade.

    I agree but my point is why did human rights activists not intervene when our people were murdered? So tomorrow if non whites are mass murdered in Europe, where they do not belong, do you think human rights activists will ignore that? They should have deported the Afrikaans. So why the double standards?

    Secondly, I'd mention that while we should not stay in Africa, parts of North Amerca (USA and Canada), Australia and New Zealand are ours. We conquered and built them. Those are our lands.

Also, by your logic, Turks should also be forced to go back to the steppes of Central Asia, black Bantus in Southern Africa should also be forced to go back to West and Central Africa, and Han Chinese in Xinjiang and Tibet should also be forced to go back to the Chinese east coast. They're as much colonizers as whitey.

    It depends on what you mean by this. They should probably go back to Europe for pragmatic reasons, since they get systematically murdered and tortured by the black majority. But simping for the black South Africans by saying the white South Africans are morally obligated to go back to Europe while being white yourself isn't ethnonationalism, in fact that's actually ethnomasochism.

    Furthermore, a lot of white South Africans actually want to go back to Europe themselves, yet they're denied entry by the governments of the very European countries their ancestors came from. I don't believe you aren't already aware of this, almost every time someone uses this "if they don't like it in South Africa why don't they go back to Europe" it's made in bad faith by an anti-white who's fully aware they're trapped.

    Yeah Germany paid reparations to jews and last I heard still paying reparations for only 80 years. We will pay reparations for 100s of years for shit we had no control of.
