If there's one question in this universe that I want answered it's if we're alone or not. I've been thinking about it ever since I was a kid. I am skeptical about UFOs being aliens though. We need the scientific community to finally take this subject seriously.

Of course we're not alone, unless by alone you mean any civilization advanced enough to do interstellar travel will have blown itself to bits first and so we will never meet them.

It's perfectly possible that Earth is the only place with actual life on it.

No. They become ultra Liberal first due to excess comfort and undergo dysgenic collapse. Even if they recover, they are unable to reindustrialize owing to a lack of cheap fossil fuels and rare earth metals which had been exploited to death during their first industrial revolution.

They are thus trapped in a state of society corresponding to 18th century Europe. But perhaps with more improved weaponry

Absolutely. It's also just a fascinating issue which too many serious people instantly associate with paranormal abduction tales and other oddities when the most interesting part by far is the type of phenomenon that's been noted by trained pilots and other people for decades. Time and time again -- and we've got real footage as well -- there are the same descriptions of these craft which defy all known abilities when it comes to our aeronautics. Vehicles that apparently just hover, nearly still but suddenly take off to the point where you can't see them. Acceleration speeds that seem to be physically impossible but also would probably flat out kill someone in the craft if it was operated by a human.

The Nimitz encounter remains the most mind-blowing example. These things came from above 28,000 feet. One of them descended to 50 feet above sea level and it did so in only 0.78 second, which is absolutely insane. What's even more insane is that these things can hover in our atmosphere for days on end. We don't have anything that can do that without refueling several times.

At that speed it should leave a trail of plasma in its wake. Its either nonsense or a radar reading error

Or it's using a propulsion system we don't know anything about. And it's not an error. It was detected by more than one radar.

Obama confirmed the videos are real and he was just as perplexed as the pilots are.
