Technically, Egypt IS in Africa, and the entire continent already shares much of the same geography and environment that made the original Civilization successful.

Egypt is both geographically and genetically closer to Europe than to sub-Saharan Africa. This is nowhere near analogous to Rome in Europe.

Iceland is 5,000km away from Egypt, whereas Sudan is 1,552 km away.

You also missed the point that I said it's still an African civilization. No one goes around calling places like Japan an American civilization because of the continent they're actually located on.

You are comparing the farthest point of Europe to nears point of SS Africa. Egypt is roughly 2k from Italy, 3k km from Germany and France and 3k km from Congo, 4k from Angola and West Africa where slaves came from.

They are on the same continent which given how big Africa is doesn't say much. Do you call Russia an Asian civilization? Egypt is closest to middle east culturally and genetically.
