That's impossible when we live in a world where hospital resources are finite. Or when factories shuts down from an outbreak, and thousands of people are now laid off or fired.

If you believe in science, you don't have to be afraid. The same science that made the vaccine, also made the computer you're typing on. Being afraid is the same thing Liberals do when shown crime statistics. Facts really don't care about your feelings.

A danish scientist says that 95% of danes are immune. Why don't you believe in science?

I'm not too familiar with Denmark's history, but even just one article shows that they still want people vaccinated and they even require a negative test before opening up society. They even go as far as requiring a digital passport or certificate.

I am not questioning whether the danish government wants a coronapassport. We are talking about science, not politics.

If we both believe in the same science, then no one at the start of the pandemic was ever immune. It came from China after all.

Just based on history, foreign diseases have always been bad news. Ask the Native Indians when they got smallpox.

With that information, governments had to do something. It was never a wise idea to "just ignore it" or leave it to herd immunity.

Australia & Vietnam proved this. Close the borders, use strict lockdowns. Very few people died while the economy stayed the same.

If everybody did this, we wouldn't have had to worry about a 1st or 2nd wave.

Factories aren’t shutting down because of covid, they’re shutting down because of society’s response to covid. There are other diseases that are just as virulent that have popped up over the years & in no case did it force the economy to close. Some healthy factory workers that catch covid could easily keep working with a snivelly nose for a few days if society didn’t tell them that they had to quarantine for weeks. The factory would easily remain open if society didn’t forcibly close it (along with the entire economy).

What is happening is a mass hysteria that is leaps & bounds out of proportion to the problem itself (I.e a slightly more serious version on the common cold)

Factories aren’t shutting down because of covid, they’re shutting down because of society’s response to covid. There are other diseases that are just as virulent that have popped up over the years & in no case did it force the economy to close.

What disease went around that was just as as widespread and deadly as Covid? And a factory refusing to shut down is a massive health violation. For example, I wouldn't eat Beef coming from a factory that had Mad Cow disease. And I would expect all tainted products to be destroyed as well.

Similarly, if there was a factory in my neighborhood with confirmed Covid cases, I would demand to know where their products are going so I don't catch it either.

The hysteria is justified because Covid has some nasty as hell after effects. For example, it's powerful enough to tear apart your lungs, requiring a replacement.
