I don't disagree with having better aesthetics and being smart about how you approach things, but the problem with optics autism is that eventually leads to cucking on principles and you start attracting people who aren't going to be on the same wavelength as you.

Look at Nick Fuentes and his America First movement. He has toned down a lot of the talking points about race and Zionism and is all but indistinguishable from a run of the mill civnat. He's hanging around with 'based blacks', I've seen his followers freaking out about people using the triple parenthesis (even though Jews use it themselves lol).

The kicker is, despite all of that, his movement is probably fucked after the StopTheSteal and January 6th malarkey.
