    I can 100% recommend that book! It's a great book that covers pre-ww1 to ww2 diplomacy and some military stuff.

    and then there is Peter Hitchens "phony victory" i believe it's similar to Buchanan.

    The podcast, Guide to Kultur recently discussed the book.

    It was interesting although the nature of the medium means of necessity the discussion was more of a gloss, skimming over a large number of interesting topics that need to be covered in more detail.
