It's a leaderless online movement and has lots of people that call themselves alt right that are just there to sour outsiders on white nationalism. The only way to hold the alt right accountable is let us form real political organizations with street addresses public leadership and membership rolls so when we find one of our members engaging in illegal or inappropriate rhetoric we can disavow.
