**Edit: Sorry I'm getting back to this so late! What I meant to get across when I first posted this is: I want to hear YOUR examples of funny comments, too!!! These were just some ideas to get the ball rolling. My apologies to everyone whose hilarious comments I missed seeing!

I thought it would be fun to have a contest or something where we vote for the funniest comments! I guess that's kind of moot, though, since the comments already show you the number of "fun" reacts... Either way, there are some hilarious people here, let's celebrate it!

I'll list some funny comments I have saved. Will edit this document as I find more.

Hahahaha some of it! I certainly think your comments are hilarious-- my solitary-subject data certainly show it, because yours were the ones I disproportionately saved. I feel like I accidentally neglected a bunch of other people, though, sadly! I was hoping people would post more funny comments that I missed but looks like I may have to go comb through older posts to find other good ones...

I'll have to help you out there! It's very much a cup-runneth-over situation re: the cleverness around here... all those comments (and commenters) really deserve some love. Just gotta find the time, and brain power, to focus! Been pretty hectic on the home front of late... but unearthing stuff that makes me laugh would provide some much-needed distraction, honestly.

Aw, this has me channeling my inner Sally Field at the 1984 Oscars: "You like me! You really like me!" :) As well as the familiar "it's an honor just to be nominated..." but it really is. I mean, just look at all those gems from my fellow DropTheT-ers up there! And plenty more where they came from, too. It's a legit embarrassment of riches on this sub, honestly.

I'm particularly struck (as in it made me laugh loud enough to scare the proverbial pet, if I had one) by the FIFY article you attribute to GatitoMalo... but if forced to choose, I think that my vote would have to go to this one, from VengefulMufasa on the late lamented Reddit incarnation of LGBDropTheT:

There are so many comments I read in here that have me spitting out my drink, and I wish I saved them. Would love to see this as a weekly thread to post our favorites from the week when they're more fresh and on hand.

This seems to be the result of their misunderstanding bisexuality as something other than a sexual orientation. Which allows them to write in the definition that best serves their purposes. Usually something along the lines of either our being indifferent to biological sex (so all that we notice about anyone is "gender"), or being this kind of indiscriminately-accepting affirmation-blob who loves EVERYONE (like Jesus).

Thanks so much for the kind words :) And, indeed, the FUNNY words-- in fact, I think that what you wrote about me deserves its own nomination! For real. (Same goes for your intro to u/JulienMayfair's comment, which is outstandingly kickass even by his standards!)

And hard agree on everything else you said, too. That's one of the main reasons why I spend most of my online time here, really-- not just for the sake of the cause (as strongly as I believe in it), but due to the high level of discourse. So much wit, so much astuteness (even profundity)... often all at the same time. That's rarer than hen's teeth. And something to be treasured.

Added! I would definitely be down for a weekly thread, if I remember! I feel like 90% of the time I forget to post in the Sunday thread until it's several days later, lol. I wonder if there's a way for Automod to do a weekly post? I think the mods manually do the Thursday and Sunday posts.
