Or maybe they just want people to stop calling them "blokes" over superficial aspects of the way they dress and behave? Sadly, I think this form of conversion therapy works. My one butch lesbian co-worker has just started with the they/them pronouns.

You can either be a butch lesbian and be bullied by your own community, or become a genderspecial and get love-bombed.

But I thought gender expression and gender identity were different?! "Gender nonconformity isn't the same as being trans, trans people don't owe society GNC'ity", apparently gender non-conforming people do owe the trans movement, their own pound of flesh though.
