I remain convinced that the generationally wealthy need a whole new branch of psychology or sociology to be understood. The human brain was never intended to experience 24/7 surplus and luxury from birth and it's clearly driving these people fucking crazy.

I honestly think it's sad to see people with so much wealth so miserable when they could negligibly impact their overall happiness or wellbeing while helping countless other people. Money doesn't buy happiness, they say, but it actually can for a lot of people. Money can't buy happiness for those who have exorbitant amounts of it, but money can buy happiness for those struggling to make ends meet while living at or near poverty.

These miserable rich assholes wouldn't be any more miserable if they only had 20% of their income and actually worked for a living, but that other 80% could do a lot of good

Apparently "wealth psychology" and "wealth therapists" are an emerging thing but how do you get people to use these services in the first place? There's a lot of people involved in managing this much money, and those people don't want their clients going to a therapist and getting generous ideas.

Ironically, that may be one reason they need a therapist in the first place: people only like them for their money.

The current state of affairs in the world is a terrible hand for all of us to have been dealt, and more recent events in the last couple decades haven't done anything to help. Un F-ing the world is going to be a difficuld and many part process that requires the elimination of many systems, cultures, and organizations that govern the way people behave. Just one of those is going to be the cycle of people gaining lots of wealth and then it ruining their happiness

I wouldn't go as far to say they are miserable. But like all things, wealth has diminishing returns to happiness. Maybe they do need some non-sedentary work. I heard from someone here that hard manual labour helps with dysphoria and making people more comfortable with their own bodies. I wonder why that is?

I don’t know who either of these people are. From looking the first photograph, I’ve concluded I’m glad about that. This is some weird, spoiled rich kid stuff that needs both therapy and to be nowhere near LGB people.

you know, I've seen a few people come out as some flavor of trans after dating someone who was, usually a MTF, and I can't help but wonder if there's something going on behind the scenes there.

I definitely think so. MtFs are usually mentally ill, and I'm not being hyperbolic. I have known several MtFs and all had diagnosed mental illness, personality disorders, or autism. I imagine a normal person in a relationship with a mentally ill MtF would start questioning reality and their own gender after a while. It's almost inevitable. Crazy ass MtFs are probably mentally abusive partners.

Lol I’ve been wondering about this. Gigi first came out as a gay man, and then later transitioned and claimed to be straight. THEN came out with a long video of being a lesbian, dating Nats who also identified as a lesbian. And now Nats comes out as a transman making her a “straight man”... All this flip flopping with the genderhairs, I just can’t anymore... I just can’t with all this ridiculousness. You’re both bisexual, please just say bisexual my god.

Gigi is not bisexual. It looked physically painful for him to kiss Nats. He's $$$$sexual and Nats is obviously mentally ill. I fear that this is Gigi's influence because he wanted to keep the $$$$$ but be with someone who more closely resembles a man.

I'd like to think if I had endless money, I'd devote myself to identifying highly effective charities and helping them out. It does seem to imply that anyone who questions their gender is destined to transition just as an egg is destined to hatch. And it also gives an excuse for why people who would've realized they aren't trans do so: "They're just not ready to hatch" This plants doubt in their mind like a seed to retry the indoctrination process at a later date

I would slightly elevate my standard of living, but primarily with things that actually bring me joy and/or serve a purpose. I'd get a better mattress, a reliable car that isn't necessarily a sports car (I like being able to have passengers and groceries), maybe a roomba. Then I'd work to make the rest of it help as many people as possible in the best way possible. I would never forgive myself if I ended up with such a surplus of resources and was still miserable when others who need those resources more would actually benefit from them.

Seriously though I knew Gigi would set Nats down this path eventually. Nats has had a history of drug and alcohol abuse as well as mental health issues, so body mutilation was the next step it seems. The amount of PR that is going on to promote their relationship is laughable, anyone with half a braincell can see Gigi is in it for the Getty $$$. I do wonder what Nats' family think of this? Or do they just simply not care?
