I am the only one that thinks this is total bullshit and it's going to turn more people against LGBTQIA+++ (because narcissism is intersectional) .FFS,I just want to be treated as a normal person who just happens to be homosexual.

To what end though? Is this a regular thing?

Maybe I’m just super ‘prvileged’ but I’ve never felt out of place on the straight trains; I’ve never experienced homophobic abuse on the 12:12 Transpenine Express service to Manchester Victoria.

Also posters and leaflets? We’ve all heard the line before but Jesus, can we not shove it down peoples’ throats? 🤮

All this rainbow flag branding everywhere feels so oppressive to me these days. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but when I was a small-town teenage girl in the 90s, coming to terms with same sex attraction being a 'here to stay' thing in my life - I always felt comforted by the rainbow pride flag. It reminded me that there were other folk out there in the world like me and one day I could go somewhere else and find them. But now it makes me shudder when I see that flag everywhere - in Tesco, in Nationwide bank, on my M&S sandwich, on recruitment emails sent to me promising how LGBTQWTF folk are appreciated by their inclusive company values (aye very nice - but do you include blokes in dresses in the women's loos?). I hate that flag now. All it stands for is the fetishisation and commodification of LGB people's lives by woke virtue signalers and publicity-hungry corporations. It's totally exploitative, totally dehumanising, and totally gross. It makes dancing bears out of each and every one of us.

I feel so sorry for LGB youth today. What a horrible time to be a teenager with all these corporate whores mostering your identity, selling it back to you and then telling you what you can and can't think as part of our 'community'.

For some reason.... And I have no idea why.

This gif springs to mind.

Unless LGBT+ people get to ride on this thing for free, or it's similar to a gay cruise (like LGBT+ get on it to socialize, make friends, and find partners) I really don't see what the point of this is. People get on trains to get from Point A to Point B. What kind of asshole is riding on a train for fun when Corona virus has already killed 41,000+ people in the UK and 1000+ new people are getting diagnosed every day?

This is some unnecessary bullshit that nobody asked for. UK has SSSSOOOO MANY problems, the fact that they're focusing on bullshit like this really disgusts me.

It's a private company, they're not doing anything different to all the other companies painting rainbows on everything for pride when nobody asked them to.

Obnoxious things like this would cause more dislike towards the community than acceptance. What a waste of resources and time, expected nothing less from the UK.

Next they'll be having gay flights with all-gay flight attendants. Won't that be shocking? /s

Same. When I looked at the pictures, I felt such shame and embarrassment, like... fuck, I don't want to be B anymore, this is too much. I wish we lived in a time where being LGB was just like having brown/green/blue eyes and literally no one cared and everything was normal. These assholes are making everything worse.

All this is going to do is cause supporters of the lgb to become annoyed. Not everything needs a pride flag on it, not everyone needs to have their pronouns on display, the more they do this the more support for the lgb community is going to drop. Constantly shoving things in peoples face doesn't create tolerance it does the opposite.
