I got a 3 day ban on reddit, for the entire site, for this post for "promoting hate"

This is outright tame compared to many things I've posted. But then again, Reddit admins do not seem to be fans of women particularly speaking their minds. I do not see this from the right.

Mostly because the right at the moment have their own preferred enemies though, which in the past, and current in other cultures, certainly have included women speaking their minds.

Agreed, to an extent. The modern left has gone full-on authoritarian "OBEY!" though, whereas now the right is somewhat more of a populist movement.

For anyone saying just leave, we shouldn't fucking have to! We are tired of men or anyone else telling us to shut up so why won't we fight to be in common spaces? I am there to help other women who didn't get the GC memo. They are in my pregnancy and parenting groups, meme groups, fan groups. Why should I have to hide and be silenced on a large platform for ideas based in science?

Saidit is great I can really speak my mind here, for now. I still won't stop seeing how bad it is out there in la la land. We need to know what these assholes are saying so we can show everyone how ridiculous they are.

We shouldn't have to leave but also you have to remember men on reddit don't wipe their arses because they think it would make them gay. The site may have a wide reach but you aren't speaking to the best or even the average person. It attracts a certain crowd.

Agreed. I should be allowed to be there and speak my mind. I also reach out to people who do not understand yet what is going on and have questions. Amidst some of the insults they get hurled at their head I am there being calm and logical and explaining whats going on.

I got banned 6 days ago for saying that as a lesbian I don't need to like penis, and I was sick of hearing that my whole life. No warning just a week total ban. We have no say anymore over our bodies????

Nope! Seriously, I am starting to get why TiFs wanna run away from this shit. Many TiFs are lesbians. As "straight transmen" they can still date their gfs and not be pressured into sex by TiMs.
