I'm not pro police in any way, but they had no way of knowing what he was reaching for back there and people can have more than one gun. It was a stupid decision by him, knowing how trigger happy the cops are. Don't ever reach for something the police can't see, especially when they have a gun pointed at you.

Not saying the shooting was justified because cops are way too trigger happy, but he could have avoided dying if he had been a little smarter.

She was literally trying to breach a barricaded door inside a federal building that she had gained unlawful access to. The barricade was protected by a policeman with a visible drawn gun, there was no other expected outcome from her decision to try and climb through the door.

USA doesn't really have a gun problem, it has a crime problem. They have more criminals than other western countries, and the criminals are more violent. They have also made it really hard for poor people to provide for themselves, which only creates more crime. And if you happen to need medical help, you better come up with a lot of money in a short amount of time or you're fucked.

It's a fucked up country on many levels. If you're poor, struggle with mental or physical health, tough shit, go live on the streets with the other half a million people they don't give a shit about. And then they're shocked when people turn to crime.
