It makes sense that if you are victimized as a child, you will want to do something to make sure you can't be victimized again. She may feel that she was victimized as a woman by men, and becoming a man will prevent it from happening again. It's so disturbing that she could get mutilated before getting proper therapy to deal with her trauma.

I imagine it happens subtly instead of forcefully, but I do think people get encouraged. I've seen people transition after getting involved with tabloid papers even though you'd never expect it of them.

            That's the movie she says she was molested while working on. She says 'a director' (male, unclear if it was the movie's director) did the first one and then a production assistant (female) a different time. If you wanted any indication that California is run by pedophiles, this is a pretty clear one.             This reminds me of the women who hated "cis straight white men" and transitioned to become a man. After becoming a man (and actually passed as a man unlike Ellen) they became symphatetic towards men lol, they couldn't hate men anymore.
