Well that was funny. Yes a Christian school, a religious school mind you, decides it's a good idea to openly promote something most religious christians are against and that is overtly against many christian denominations teachings, right when said issue is at the height of the culture wars and intensely political. And it relies entirely on donations to stay open. Womp womp trombone noise indeed. What did they think was gonna happen? Pro LGBTQ organizations where going to step up and fund a religious school?

The question was, are you following the old testament law when you say "god hates fags" and therefore you take equal care of the other old testament laws?

Do you make sure that you're not wearing garments made out of two kinds of material?

How many sins in the bible does it command its adherents to execute the sinner? There aren't many, but homosexuality is one of them. It does not condemn the other rules in such a strict manner. In fact, had you read the bible, you'd know Jesus overruled many of the old testament rules, such as eating shellfish. Not so with homosexuality. You'd know this if you didn't learn everything about christianity from reddit.

No, that is not entirely true.

What's true is homophobia is associated with homosexual arousal. Psychologically is makes sense. There's no reason to be upset by what other people are doing in the bedroom of their own home. But if you feel threatened by your own responses, then you get the dissonance that expresses as intolerance.
