Color me shocked! A pavement sitting crybaby yelling and screaming but not actually doing anything? Nah, get out of here! No way! I don't believe it.

Before reporting statistics, wait for something to change at Twitter. I've seen no difference yet, but I expect to see the disinformation in a couple weeks. Notes I've seen from those who want to quit indicate that they will transition to other social media sites during a 30 - 90 day period. One friend will leave in February, she says.

This is your dumbest tweet yet.

There is already disinformation on Twitter, and every other SM site, and always will be.

I supposed you can link to some of these people specifying a 30-90 day transition and why.

And what's so special about February? That is clearly someone who never intends to leave putting off explaining why they wont to their woke friends until the fuss dies down.

Musk is blue, he votes Biden.

His "free speech" is a cleverly packaged lie

This is an ad hominem attack. How shameful.

We will see if he is true to his word. So far so good, except for the criticism of jews. He seems to be a shill for them.

But he is exposing the crimes of democrats with regards to election tampering, censorship, collusion etc. So he is head and shoupders better than anyone else so far

Musk's loyalty is to musk.

Sure thing bud. You must excuse me for not taking your word on that when you already demonstrated poor judgement in your previous comment.

Sorry - how dare I put a tweet on Saidit. You could also say that it's my only tweet on Saidit. I hope it's under 280 characters, and agree it would be dumb to try to include a tweet longer than 280 characters here in /s/whatever. I use Twitter ~30 minutes per day, 99% of that time to engage with friends and thus do not see disinformation, to my knowledge. Perhaps your friends share disinformation. The friend's note (eg. a screenshot) that she will be 'migrating' to a different social media platform at the end of February cannot be shared at the moment (because I can't be bothered). As honoured as I am that you'd deign to respond to my comment, it's unfortunate that you seem particularly focused on insults rather than arguments. My main argument remains: users who want to leave will start first with announcements, and then gradually migrate to other platforms, or might not. But we won't know for 30-90 days which ones have gone through this process. OP's post is obviously a premature ejaculate.

There's been some differences:

  • 5000 fewer employees. Turns out most of those jobs were pure bloat since the service runs fine without them.
  • Advertisers leaving. This one made people prophetize the end. We all saw the "final" tweets, people doing retrospectives and so on. And now advertisers are quietly crawling back, the pricks.
  • A lot less child porn. This is obviously the most important one and it was worth $44b if you ask me.

You have seen no difference because the doomsaying was wrong. It was motivated reasoning by what people who hate Elon Musk wanted to happen more than any objective assessment. Don't expect the service to degrade in 90 days.

They were propaganda editors. The site literally runs better without them.

This is your opinion, not evidence of a site-wide assessment by Twitter, nor would there be an immediate change in the system. We'll know in 30-90 days.

And now advertisers are quietly crawling back, the pricks.

This is also your opinion, and unrelated to what in general has happened. Apple and Amazon resumed advertising, per the article, whereas "Many companies from General Mills Inc (GIS.N) to luxury automaker Audi of America stopped or paused advertising." If advertisers return, we'll know in 30-90 days, not right away.

A lot less child porn.

This is also just your opinion. You're linking to the claims of a few people on Twitter, which may or may not be accurate, and do not specifically claim to address child porn, in the 44.000 suspicious accounts. That's a person or several people claiming that he/they suspended suspicious accounts in a 24-hour period. They are required to do this (re. child porn) by many nations. We will not know if they have been effective until 30-90 days have passed.

Sure mate. See you in a couple months.
