If companies didn't spend more money on bullshit ads for their shitty products than on the quality of the product itself, I wouldn't mind advertising so much. But advertising these days is about coming up with overly expensive ways of fooling you into forking over your cash for a product that often barely meets minimum quality standards and isn't worth nearly what it costs.

It should say, "The joy of not having your attention sold to someone."

I wondered why, driving through VT, that their state seems more beautiful than any other. It clicked when I learned that they don't allow billboards on most of their highways.

"The love of possessions is a disease in them. These people have made many rules that the rich may break, but the poor may not! They have a religion in which the poor worship, but the rich will not! They even take tithes from the poor and weak to support the rich and those who rule. They claim this mother of ours, the earth, for their own use, and fence their neighbor away. ... If America had been twice the size it is, there still would not have been enough.

This speaks to me more than most attempts at modern art. Bravo, that anonymous paint dude.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

Seriously. I'd pay a premium, to eliminate propaganda.

An ad is still an ad. The real version of this sentiment is to dismantle the billboard completely.

Billboards are strange. I didn't get paid to have it shoved in my face at every corner, nor did I have any say in what goes on them. putting up your own message is perfectly OK in my book and should be encouraged.

The true joy of owning durable goods that enhance your life.

You will own actual things, and be happy!

Everybody was happier when society viewed females as property of males.
