Sorry if you do not treat white skinned individuals differently from dark skinned individuals when trying to estimate propensity to violence/crime, then you are discriminating against whites.

Race can determine level of violence in an individual. But not CIA poisoning black communities with crack in the 80s, redlining setting a segregation line that is slowly breaking overtime and reckless leaders who call for violence if their demands are not met like the somali pirates on Phillips boat. Whites are also the root of a vast majority of systemic evil in the world.           Your definition of fairness: Treat black criminals better than white criminals. Treat innocent blacks better than innocent whites.

            If blacks commit 100 crimes and whites commit 50 crimes, and you treat both blacks and whites as if they each committed 75 crimes, then you are favoring blacks and disfavoring whites.

            If blacks commit 100 crimes and whites commit 50 crimes, and you treat blacks as if they committed 150 crimes and whites 0 crimes, then you are disfavoring blacks and favoring whites.

            If blacks commit 100 crimes and whites commit 50 crimes, and you treat blacks as if they committed 100 crimes and whitest 0 crimes, then you are treating both fairly.

              If I give you two dice: A = [1,2,3,4,5,6] B = [1,2,3,4,5,1] And I told you to pick the dice that would give the highest number, which one would you choose? Would you treat A and B as if they were the same? As if each roll is an individual? And you would treat each roll as an individual, with no difference as to whether the roll comes from A or B?

              Of course you would always choose A, because you werent brainwashed to discriminate against individual dice. But you were brainwashed to discriminate against Black or White individuals. Always treating Whites worse than they deserve to be treated and blacks better than they deserve.

                False. Blacks and whites fall into different probability distributions just like dice A and dice B. You treating blacks and whites as if they have the same probability distribution is discrimination and bias. You wouldn't treat dice A and dice B as if they have the same probability distribution, because you know out of 100 rolls, dice A would get a higher number or the same number as dice B (6+5+4+3+2+6)/36 = 26/36 of the time and not 18 out of 36 times. Likewise you know that out of 36 individuals, you would have more blacks that are criminal than whites that are criminal, BUT despite this knowledge, you would treat the whites as if they are just as criminal as blacks. This is antiwhite bias. You are treating whites as if they are more criminal than they are.

                And no, individual people don't exist in isolation. They belong to a probability distribution. You wouldn't go to an old lady to find a violent criminal either, because you know she belongs to a probability distribution where its basically nonexistant. You wouldn't expect an individual who is an old lady and an individual who is a young black male to have the same probability of being a criminal.

                  Yes, the moral action would be to treat whites fairly and not treat them as if they're more criminal than they are. And likewise, treat blacks fairly. Don't treat them as less criminal than they are.

                    I agree individuals should be treated as individuals 100% but if for a second we look at the wording of this bloke Dragonerne he very specifically said "If blacks commit 100 crimes and whites commit 50 crimes..." so in this hypothetical we know that the group inside the bigger group has committed a crime commonly referred to as a "Criminal" our equation would be 1+X=3 we can assume X =2 now plug it in 1+2=3 if our equation is correct then we can complete our work and submit it to data pool furthering our understanding of the issue at hand. So without any other factors in his hypothetical it is possible for us to say the work is inconclusive on why we should treat people differently based of race.

                      I do. Again, if you're not well versed in the academic definitions, then please shut up. They have a mathematical definition and I am following that definition.

                      Your definition of fairness is colorblindness which means to ignore the persons race which is discrimination and is biased.

                      You think this bias and discrimination is JUSTIFIED for "moral reasons" because your definition of fairness is unawareness.

                      I am however not okay with bias or discrimination, so I follow what is mathematically called equal opportunity which means if two individuals have the same qualifications, then they should be treated equally. Blacks and whites (on average) do not have the same qualifications (risk scores of criminality) so should not be treated the same ON average (like you want to).

                      You're also wrong about your tirade about "OTHER blacks" because you do not know if it is the "OTHER blacks" or the individual standing right in front of you. My estimation is more accurate than yours, so I will have less bias towards individuals of different races than you.
