Money must remain the final layer of decentralization. Money is how my friend and I exchange value between the two of us without the involvement of a third party. If a third party is involved, then that third party dictates all transactions. Objective, non-intermediated means of exchange is the foundation of a true free market.

There must be CASH. If "they" are in the middle of every transaction, freedom is gone, poof!

If a cashless system evolves, it's time to go to barter and black markets.

This is critical to understand.

i watched a prison video about a guy who would get into debt and when he couldnt pay, they had sex with him.

he soon learned that he could pay back any debt by giving up some ass.

maybe that can be our new "off the grid" currency. /s

Looks like there has been a bill introduced against this, not sure if it's still around:

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/feb/13/dc-council-mulls-bill-that-would-ban-cashless-busi/

The D.C. Council on Thursday considered legislation that would ban cashless, brick-and-mortar businesses in an effort to make the city less vulnerable to cyberattacks and more friendly to residents without banking or credit cards.

The way to defeat the push for a 'cashless society' is to expose how it discriminates against poor people without bank accounts.

power outage from storm

power outage from wartime attack

remote area without power

government declares you a dissident and freezes wallet, which would definitely not be designed to be anonymous

you get hacked

Whoops, there goes all my money and ability to exchange anything! Guess I'll wait/starve/die until it gets fixed!

It will happen when the hyperinflation really starts cranking. Within 2 years the currency will be useless. There are already.prices scheduled to increase on a monthly basis. This is the beginning of hyperinflation.

This is a silly post. Cashless/digital money system doesn't mean GoFundMe. It means Bitcoin, which is distributed and impossible for the government or a corporation to take away.

Let your representative know that GoFundMe should be sued and investigated for fraud and outright stealing people's money.

in a cashless society, how would the homeless beg for change? how would drug dealers sell dope without their transactions being tracked? truth is, leave it to the dope fiends to figure it out.. they will..
