If at first you don't succeed, try try again.

Kyle Rittenhouse tells Tucker Carlson "I'm not a racist person. I support the BLM movement. I support peacefully demonstrating. I believe there needs to be change. I believe there’s a lot of prosecutorial misconduct, not just in my case but in other cases." by AXXA in politics

[–]BravoVictor 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

And because virtually everyone else who supports the "blm movement" would like nothing more than to see him hanged. I'll chaulk it up to him either being misinformed due to being a little distracted for the last several years, or simply feeling he has to say that for shallow PR reasons so those calm peaceful tolerant liberals don't try and murder him.

It's nonsense, but I can't completely fault people who think they'll be spared by pledging alliance to the left's false religion.

When Youtube popped up it's usual "breaking news" insert into my feed, one of the three-letter news outlets described it as a "possible domestic disturbance".

Yet Rittenhouse defending himself against a mob trying to murder him they immediately branded terrorism...

A house playing their stereo too loudly at 11pm is a domestic disturbance. A guy murdering people with his car is terrorism.

They're not even trying to make their propaganda convincing anymore.

The Media Wants You Dead BTW by Tarrock in politics

[–]BravoVictor 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Got into a minor political debate at work that went something like that.

This brainwashed liberal douchebag mentioned off hand how he hoped Rittenhouse would get convicted because Rittenhouse went to Kenosha to murder people.

I asked him if he'd seen all the cell phone footage of Rittenhouse running around giving people first aid before the incident. Or knew if he was a volunteer fire fighter. Or if he'd seen the video when he was running away while three people were attacking him, one kicking him, another hitting him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground, while another ran at him with a pistol in hand. Or when the mob started to attack him after he used a fire extinguisher to put out a literal dumpster fire that someone was trying to start outside a gas station.

To which he responded, "Well, it sounds like I'm just on the other side of it."

That's the world we live in. Facts don't matter. Only which news outlet you allow to program you, to which you pledge your unthinking alliance.

And almost none of that shit was even reported on Fox. You see it reported through a mix of social media and independent news outlets, the few people let doing actual news reporting.

Yeah. Between hostilities making accurate reporting difficult, to our own media being garbage, who knows what the truth is.

It's funny though, because allowing drug production but forcing addicts into rehab is basically the direction the US political left is leaning. In most US cities, that's basically the status quo. Drugs are being legalized. "Safe injection sites" are being setup. Never in nice neighborhoods though, of course. But anyone found to be an addict is strongly encouraged to go to rehab.

But YouTube believes the change will better protect its creators from harassment and reduce the threat of what it calls “dislike attacks” — essentially, when a group teams up to drive up the number of dislikes a video receives.

The company says that while dislike counts won’t be visible to the public, it’s not removing the dislike button itself. Users can still click the thumbs down button on videos to signal their dislike to creators privately. Meanwhile, creators will be able to track their dislikes in YouTube Studio alongside other analytics about their video’s performance, if they choose.

So they think showing dislikes somehow hurts the creator of the video.

But they're still allowing users to dislike videos?

And they're still showing the true dislike count to creators?

And users who participate in these "dislike attacks" will know this?

$750 is not very much

Not sure what you mean. If this is some jab at "Trump only paid $750 in taxes" you're literally pushing fake news. Trump paid millions in taxes, and for one year, due to businesses loses, was able to write off a lot of it, thanks mostly in part due to a law signed by Obama/Biden. If you voted for Biden because you hate a law they enacted, you just played yourself.

Telling states to stop counting votes, for instance. Not to mention firing comey, forcing out Rosenstein, etc.

Stopping fraudulent votes where Democrats have banned observers, yes. What are you afraid of people seeing?

Trump's an authoritarian because he fired Comey? Are you serious? Democrats wanted Comey to be fired. A Colbert audience fucking cheered when it was announced, until Colbert reissued their programming and corrected them that, yes, he'd been blaming Comey for handing the election to Trump, but now that Trump fired him for not doing his job, that means that Comey's good again.

The President can fire whoever the fuck he wants. Obama fired staff regularly. Trump exercising the legal powers of his job does not make him an authoritarian.

Cope.

Heh, like you've been doing for the last 4 years by shouting "election interference!" and lying about everything? Looks like election fraud's ok as long as Democrats do it.

-Restore positive relations with US allies

Already do. What "relations" have become negative under Trump and what tangible effects has that had? None and nothing. Even relations with Mexico are better, and Mexico's been working with the US to stop illegal immigration.

-Enact a meaningful plan to combat climate change

Won't happen. Biden doesn't even have a meaningful plan to dress himself.

Michigan Supreme Court: Selling A $24,000 House (And Keeping The Proceeds) Over An $8.41 Debt Is Unlawful by Drewski in news

Makes sense. However, the real question is how did it even get to that point? The plaintiffs could afford a lawyer to argue it all the way to the state supreme court, but they couldn't afford $8.41?

Lawyers ain't cheap. And even filing the court documents yourself would cost hundreds.

The Democrat Party is Getting Rid of the Jews by scrubking in politics

I always wondered by liberal Jews kept encouraging identity politics, while demonizing Republicans. It always seemed self-defeating. Yeah sure, give lunatic radicals like "the Squad" all your money. That monster's going to eat the Jews first.

Once the high-level Jewish leadership, like Chuck Schumer is gone, there's nothing stopping the party from going full anti-Semite. There's nearly enough support as-is to push BDS. To Democrats, minority ethnic groups like Jews can be poor and dependent on government handouts, or they can be part of the evil rich white majority oppressing everyone. Jews break their formula.

"You have 1 day to pay the outstanding taxes on your store."

"Your store has been burned down by mostly peaceful protesters."

"You have 1 week to pay the outstanding taxes on your rubble."
