Would AOC make a Good President?
submitted 13 days ago by MagicMike from self.politics
She turned 35 last October so I thought she would run then, 35 being the minimum age to be POTUS. She would have done far better than Wet Fart Kamala.

Anyone who cannot understand the difference between legal and illegal immigration, supports tranny shit, or supports affirmative action or any codified racial/sexual discrimination in the name of "equity" would not make a good president.

She took pronouns off twitter

She almost never discusses any of that, nor is that accurate. She reminds us regularly that anyone truly representing the 99% should challenge the billionaire oligarchy's corruption. That's the issue, not the bullshit you've mentioned.

Come on man you cannot be serious. All of those things have been mainstream progressive stances for nearly a decade and are things she absolutely has supported, and you cannot in good faith suggest those things aren't major issues.

I follow /r/AOC and listen regularly to her comments and approaches, all of which are clearly focused on THE 'major issue': representing the concerns of the 99% and addressing the abuses of the .1%. She represents all of us. Republicans want us to focus on minor and less important DIVISIVE matters, like 'owning the libs', or attacking the handful ot trans people in one's home town, or criticizing the equal treatment of people, , or whatever will divide people. Now that Republicans control the Hill, you can see what their priorities have been, implementing Project 2025, creating division, giving themselves $4.5 trillion in borrowed money, destroying the Education system, attacking the most vulnerable people in the US, destroying agencies that help people, stealing Social Security money, killing healthcare, destroying US relations with the rest of the world, giving a fifth of Ukraine to Russia, and so much more. AOC is against all of that Project 2025 corruption.

In think a young president would be good for young citizens.
AOC also cares about climate change, and the rule of law. She's towards the left, so would be divisive. But a lot less divisive than Trump.

She's not at all incompetent. Her questioning of Mueller after Barr shut down his investigation and lied to the public about the findings exonerating Trump was the only one amongst the Dems that were posed with a criminal charge against Trump and Bar in mind. Literally everyone else was doing political grandstanding.
And she graduated cum laude, so she'd be comfortably more intelligent than the current president.

Unless you're a climate change denier, you would believe we passed the point of no return in the year 2000 and nothing can be done now because the climate apocalypse already happened.
We still have enough time to make a bad situation much worse. It doesn't plateau. For every amount of CO2 global warming, more would be worse.

No, she's not very smart. She would raise federal taxes, hurting business and the economy. She would promote wasteful spending on pointless social justice programs that would just funnel tax dollars to grifters. Imagine how much money she would've given BLM if she was president instead of Biden. She would increase regulation on the fossil fuel industry which is pointless in "preventing climate change" when we do nothing to prevent China and India from polluting unchecked. Basically she would ensure our economic collapse and turning over all production to China and like countries.

America is unique because it gave the vote to peasants. Such people vote from emotion and not from facts. They see a mildly attractive female and vote accordingly. They vote for who will rob the productive and share the largesse. So in that sense, she’d make a fine POTUS.

Dems never do real primaries, she'd win it if she's the chosen one.
I do think a dem will win next if economy keeps going down and it'll be aoc or gavin not sure which. I don't support them I just can tell the elites are setting trump and repubs up to fail.

Have to thank Hillary for exposing that one back in '16, when the Democrats openly fucked Bernie up the ass to make sure that their anointed one's run was unopposed, all in the expectation that everyone would forget it ever happened in the rush of having the first female president to succeed the first black one.

Who are the elites who are setting Trump up to fail?
[–]WoodyWoodPecker 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun - 12 days ago (1 child)
George Soros for one: https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/india/george-soros-backed-open-society-foundations-linked-entities-raided-by-ed/articleshow/119147656.cms?from=mdr India is taking care of his group and crimes.
Are you claiming that because Open Society Foundations donated money to Indian NGOs, Soros is one of many elites that are setting up Trump to fail?
What is Soros doing that is setting up Trump to fail, and what has that to do with the Modi government's crackdown on NGOs that aren't Hindu?
[–]DaveMaverick 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun - 13 days ago (0 children)
Awfully naive to think the Democrats have "primaries" any more.
[–]YoMamma 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun - 13 days ago (0 children)
Absolutely.
She's one of only a handful of people working for the 99% and speaking truth to power on the Corrupt AF Hill. She's appropriately pointing out that the establishment on both sides of the aisle should be replaced by new people. AIPAC and Republicans and Older Dems are trying to oust her. She and Bernie and a small number of her colleagues are always pointing out the facts about these corrupt assholes on the Hill and what they are doing to the 99%. She's one of very few who are challenging the pay-to-play late stage capitalist politics. It's because of this that she may never have enough of politicians' support to become President, and as we've seen, Republicans can elect anyone they want, thanks to the private owners of the voting machines. But in an age of populist presidents, she could gain a signifcant following.

She would have fared better than Kamala. But she lacks the loyalties to the deep state that they require, which is why Tulsi Gabbard was ousted from the DNC, and denied her run. Also, she's a total goof ball with no clear abilities.

She's pretty but is too far to the left to be elected President. Andy Beshear would have been a better candidate. At 35 she better start having children. Her fertility clock is ticking down.
