Why are taxpayers paying for this shit? Would you open your wallet and give them money?

[–]Dune1032[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Definitely. The war in Ukraine is weakening Russia's military. Consequently, the US doesn't have to spend that much money on its own military. Hamas is no threat to the world and can only cause small harm to Israel. Consequently, Israel doesn't need that much money.

[–]cunninglingus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Also - the cost to the usual military budget is a very small fraction of its specific purpose. Closing a few US bases would help save money. Any support of Ukraine is one of the US's best investments, particularly in the post-WWII geopolitical context.

Like a Charlie Wilson war.

We aren't weakening China's military and we aren't funneling money from our military budget to the Ukraine so your argument makes no sense.

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It is better to weaken at least Russia's military than have to face two hostile militaries.

Deal; use the money to build the wall.

Russia is a greater threat to the US than illegal migrants. It wouldn't cost that much to put concertina wire along the border and deport illegal migrants.

Russia is a threat only because they refuse to be bullied.an error occurred (status: 403)

No it is not.

Republicans are foolish. Ukraine is more important than Israel because Russia is a greater threat to the world. Presently, Russia is being weakened by the war in Ukraine. If Russia conquers Ukraine, it will become more powerful and can exert its military might in the Middle East. It will back up Iran and put Israel in danger. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Americans wanted fighting Japan to be the priority, but America's leaders wisely knew that Germany was the greater danger. Biden should have Olha Bigar speak to Congress. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwkIsnTn01E&t=18s

This is the bullshit that our corrupt politicians want you to believe

[–]GuyWhite 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Not a problem. Just put it up to a separate vote from the jew aid. If Ukraine aid has merits, it will be approved.

[–]Dune1032[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Republicans want the Jewish vote. Hamas will not conquer Israel, but if Russia conquers Ukraine, it can now allocate resources to the Middle East. In support of Iran, Russia can send warships to the Mediterranean Sea. If Biden doesn't want to offend Putin by giving Ukraine all the weapons it wants, he's not going to want to confront Russia in the Middle East.

[–]Oyveygoyim 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Isn't that a problem in our nation that Republicans are making decisions because they want the votes of the people who according to themselves only make up 2 percent of the population?

[–]Dune1032[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

But they have money. Biden has to convince Americans that not providing aid to Ukraine would endanger the world including Israel.

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (14 children)

they weren't so much giving aid to other countries but giving funding to our own military to fight germany and japan. Which yeah we should fund our own military and let it take out threats.

[–]Dune1032[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

It is far cheaper to supply weapons to Ukraine and have them fight Russia than to have our own military fight Russia. In the former case, the US is just supplying weapons. In the latter, the US is supplying troops and weapons.

[–]Bigs 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

Oh it's you again, you fucking tard, spreading shite about the Russians are coming! Russia just wants to be left in peace without NATO up their nose, and you know that, don't you, you tarded CIA bot shit fukwitz? Go troll your mother

From https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/articles/2022-02-24/explainer-why-did-russia-invade-ukraine

“I think NATO, and the invitation for Ukraine to join NATO at some point in the future, is simply just a pretext to potentially invade Ukraine,” he says, referring to Russia. “Ukraine is not a member of NATO, it doesn't have any of the NATO guarantees, and so there is no hint that Ukraine will become a member of NATO soon.”

Putin, specifically, does not want Ukraine to join NATO “not because he has some principled disagreement related to the rule of law or something, it's because he has a might makes right model,” adds Bradley Bowman, the senior director of the Center on Military and Political Power at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a non-partisan research institute focused on national security and foreign policy.

“He believes, ‘Hey, Ukraine, I'm more powerful than you. And because I'm more powerful than you, Ukraine, I can tell you what to do and with whom to associate,’” Bowman says.

Beyond the concern around NATO and other demands related to weapons and transparency, Russia’s nature of expansion is also at play when it comes to Ukraine. Some Russians, Putin included, feel Russia has a claim to the former Soviet state.

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

they couped ukraine in 2014 spcifically cuz they wanted them in NATO, biden's son was in on it

[–]Bigs 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

You really need to keep up with the news.

One of the top UN bods has admitted the whole shitshow is because of America goading Russia by talking of Ukraine joining NATO. You can gaslight yourself but you're not fooling me or anyone else who's even vaguely looked into this.

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Ukraine had not even applied for NATO membership. If Putin was really concerned about Ukraine's entry into NATO, it would not have invaded Ukraine until Ukraine applied for membership and NATO agreed to admit it.

[–]Bigs 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

That would mean attacking NATO and declaring WW3 you muppet

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

incorrect since Ukraine would not yet be a member of NATO.

[–]Bigs 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

*facepalm

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

bad idea to fund or give them weapons

if a war is worth it let us do it ourselves

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Ukrainians will fight to defend their country more ferociously than foreigners. Also, they know the terrain.

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

could be true. But do they have enough troops at the end of the day, Russia much bigger. Also I'd say it sucks for Ukraine the longer this goes on, will they fight for ten years just to lose the territory?

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Russia has many more troops but Western weapons are superior to Russian weapons and Ukrainian troops have higher morale.

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

not sure that's true but we'll see

Confirms where Poopy-Pant's retirement fund is.

[–]ID10T 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Sounds good. Let's not send money to either.

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Then Russia will conquer Ukraine and threaten other European countries. Giving Hitler the Sudetenland did not stop his aggression.

[–]GuyWhite 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

Let him dig in. The Demonrats will lose every jew vote next November.

[–]William_World 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

that is not a very large percentage, it's like 1% of american voters, but biden is worried about the black vote, and young liberal college kids, who all support hamas. He might be hoping that repubs say no to any aid to either since they don't support the ukraine war, then biden has an excuse not to support israel. I think it all might be a fake debate for show and in the end funding for all continues.

[–]GuyWhite 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You may be on to something. But don’t forget jews carry a big “campaign finance money” stick. So jew influence may be greater than their voting numbers.

[–]Bigs 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

You're looking at it wrong. Peeps think the Jews control US politics but really Israel is like an aircraft carrier in the Middle East. The US supports it in exactly the same way they're support any of their other military assets.

By getting the much-hated Jews/Zionists/Israel/whatever to do their dirty work they can ensure the area is never peaceful, productive and thus a threat" (by being prosperous and/or powerful), deny their own culpability etc.

And yes, part of the mechanism is politicians go through the ritual of going there, having this shit explained to them, and then in exchange for supporting the plan and funneling taxpayer money to "them Jews over there", they receive hefty 'campaign contributions' etc.

It's a system.

Yeah I know, an error occurred, cos I took more than 20 seconds writing a cunting reply, you shitsite...

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

definitely true, i think that's why funding would continue, just responding to the part about losing the jew vote.

[–]Dune1032[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Not if Biden explains to Americans the reason the US must support Ukraine. He should give a public speech explaining that if Russia conquers Ukraine, it would be a threat to the world including Israel. Free from fighting in Ukraine Russia will send its military to the Middle East to back up Iran if it fights Israel. He should invite Olha Bigar to speak with him. She will probably be the better speaker. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwkIsnTn01E&t=26s

[–]Bigs 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

A threat to the world? Are you retarded?

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

biden did give a speech saying just that, shortly after the hamas attack

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

The speech was mainly about the Hamas attack. I think there was only one sentence justifying sending aid to Ukraine. He should give a speech specifically explaining the necessity of sending aid to Ukraine. He should invite Olha Bigar to speak with him. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwkIsnTn01E&t=20s

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

no he talked a lot about russia too

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Biden would be more convincing if he devoted an entire speech to support for Ukraine. He could have Olha Bigar speak and Lloyd Austin could explain the military significance of supplying weapons to Ukraine.

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I guess it'd seem weird if he did a speech right after the Israel attack and didn't mention that, only mentioned Ukraine.

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

He can give it now.

[–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

He might. These days Biden is less popular because most of his democratic base are hamas supporters. He is probably more likely to do a speech calling for a ceasefire to appease them. The democratic base doesn't care about Ukraine, they don't care if white people are getting bombed. Doing a speech on Ukraine might please repub voters but they won't vote for him anyway.

[–]Dune1032[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Biden must generate support for Ukraine by explaining how the US attempted to isolate itself from the war raging in Europe but eventually was drawn in because that was the only way Hitler could be stopped. Olha Bigar could plead for help for her people and describe what it's like fighting the Russians. She should ask Americans if they want their children to experience what she saw. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwkIsnTn01E&t=20s

[–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The DNC is literally run by jews.

So is ukraine.

So are the central banks that will print trillions, pin the debt on the US, and distribute the money to jews.

Democrats will continue to reject the budget proposals, forcing the government to shut down, while their weaponized media continues to print articles about how the Republicans are forcing a government shutdown and how super bad that would be after Democrat policies ruined our credit and economy in just a couple years.
