RFK Jr is a great man, the corrupt DNC and their media lackeys will do everything in their power to smear him and derail his campaign

He might be a better deal than anything the retarded Republicans can put up. Unless of course Trump could win again, but he can’t, or rather, they won’t let him. Whatever, I’m done voting. Why should I give them a vote they can manipulate?

Exactly, bring on civil war. Fuck this

Yes.

It’s quite possible that no votes are actually counted. There’s just enough votes for someone to win. Kabuki theatre?

A fake democracy where voting is ignored in secret is stronger than a legit democracy where the people believe falsely that the system is rigged.

I hope they don't shoot him.

I hope he has really great security.

I like the guy, only because of his book on Fauci and his damning of covid protocols. But...........Isn't that what they all say?

What's he supposed to say? "I'll be an empty suit and your zionist overlords are gonna take away more of your life."

Come on people! Concentrate on your governors. Look how different life was for some of us during Covid based on geography. Even when the federal govt was heavy handed, where you lived mattered. It's never mattered more. If I lived in Florida I'd be begging DeSantis to stay, or finding a guy like him to replace him.

The presidency is an empty suit.

No, actually nobody else who is a Democrat holding or running for office said anything like this, even their token Big Pharma hater Bernie the sheepdog didn't make a peep. Tulsi did say something but then promptly left the party. In Kennedy's defense, he has been battling against vaccine harms, as well as taking on other corporate regulatory capture for decades, this isn't new, only the running for office part. He has also has been willing to accept media smears, and his own family disavowing him. I give him a bit more credit than the other puppets in suits. He of course has zero chance of actually winning a primary though, so its more or less a moot point

They're not going to let him take their puppet government away from them.

But can he win? Can he even win the candidacy in the DNC? I doubt it. We're stuck with this lesser of two evils crap until there's a viable third party.

I mean, calling for unity is nice and all. But the last candidate to do that was Hillary, and we saw how that went right out the window as soon as she didn't win.

[–]Alienhunter 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

They call for unity every election and every election it breaks down. Maybe Kennedy can do it. Hope he can. But I'm not optimistic.

Hillary has always come off as a sleazeball to me. Same with Bill really but Bill was a sleazeball that I found likeable to the point he seemed more capable than most. Maybe I'm just more inclined to trust that some guy more interested in fucking his interns like a frat boy has his life priorities straight than a career politician who seems to be structuring her life entirely in pursuit of power.

[–]LordoftheFlies 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, Hillary definitely had that sleazy, swamp-crawling powerbroker vibe going any time she made the news. That in itself would have been bad enough, but then there was that whole mess with the emails where it was deny, lie, obfuscate, and deflect. By the time that was over with, I didn't even care anymore whether or not she was guilty of anything, because her behavior the entire time just left a foul aftertaste.

And the smug sanctimony of her supporters, that blithe assumption that because she was Obama's anointed successor or something she deserved to have the job unopposed--and that anyone who did oppose her was scum for doing so--was the final nail in that coffin. That Trump just triggered the shit out of pretty much everyone around him, and had people going to all kinds of increasingly blatant and desperate shitslinging in an effort to derail him, that was a bonus entirely unlooked for but much appreciated.

Was pretty hilarious watching everyone lose their shit about trump.

Biden promises unity and redemption amid divisions and challenges

The new president is issuing a blizzard of executive orders and legislative proposals on Day One, testing any sense of unity with quick action on immigration, the environment and what would mark significant expansions of government spending.

"civil rights"?

What ever happened to constitutional rights? They're not even on the table.

Running as a [D]onkeycrap, means it's a meme run. The D. N. C. will "Sanders" if it looks like he has any chance of getting the nomination. Failing that, the M. I. B. will off him like they did his father and uncle.

RFK Jr. is a useless scion, lets not let the Kennedy's back into power.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think you may be unfairly judging him due to his family. I am pretty impressed with this guy, he has a very impressive track record and what seems to be real integrity. The rest of his family disavows everything he says (most recently about vaccines and also letting Sirhan Sirhan free because it was really the CIA that killed his dad), so I'm not too concerned about his election empowering them. But realistically he has has zero chance in the primary anyway

Part of me wants to see him run as a Wallace esque third party candidate in a bid to split the electoral college vote
