I'm a fast food worker in NYC and I can't afford full-time daycare for my 3 kids. This sucks!!

I've never understood why anyone would want to live in NYC, especially if they're a fast food worker.

A lot of them do it for the ego. Some people will live like rats in a sewer to feel like they are "making it in the big city". You hear them say shit like "that is just the way it is in big cities". They want to be close to all the coolest bars they can't afford to go to.

You would hopefully have better arrangements or else why bother? It is like buying a puppy and housing it in a commercial kennel all the time. Just weird.
