Social media , much like the internet, is only as bad as the people who regulate them.

In fact, the problem is they are too restricted. Before 2012, all those platforms you mentioned were on the side of free speech and politically neutral.

You could post videos on youtube that criticized Israel or talk about white genocide without being banned.

That all changed of course once these platforms got (((infiltrated))).

tiktok and copies are still somewhat unrestricted because it's too difficult to censor and people are smarter than the algorithm. tiktok especially you can get wild view counts for radicalizing zoomers
