CBC just ran an article trying to make handguns seem scary. By saying hand guns were about 60% of gun crime. And then pointed out that gun violence is only 2.8% of all violent crime in Canada. "Gun Control" in Canada is the deffinition of wasted effort and wasted tax dollars.

re: Gun crime data

When you dig into the statistics, it's deliberately obscured. I'm not even sure it's possible to know. There was a medical study done a few years back that was all over the media claiming that children were constantly injured in firearms accidents in Canada. I personally dug into the data.

It turned out that they included injury from basically anything: pellet guns, airsoft guns, bb guns, fucking Nerf guns and they called it all "firearms injury"

Meanwhile, Canadian police chiefs know that targeting law-abiding citizens won't do shit

Police chiefs say handgun ban won't stop flow of weapons into Canada
