I imagine that these protests will be far more damaging and entertaining than 2020 BLM, since a far larger portion of the population feels attacked; that is, feminists of all stripes, rather than a mere ethnic minority and their sympathizers.

You obviously have little understanding of the current political situation if you can think something so completely wrong.

Exactly. BLM was secretly hated by most white people. This ruling would have the exact opposite effect, completely alienating whites who would otherwise be sympathetic. It would make the GOP completely radioactive to women and would probably finish off the GOP as a viable party long term, but not because the GOP wouldnt stick up for whites and sane Americans, but because it will be seen as a party of religious extremists, and this will translate to any right wing populist movement.

The fact alt righters think this is great illustrates the problem with a movement that almost exclusively consists of males, a high percentage of whom are probably incels. I hate to be an asshole, but thats just the reality of it.

Any dissident worth his salt would support the destabilization of the system. If the left goes apeshit and starts a bigger ruckus than the summer of Floyd, it will further drive the US into a tailspin, especially considering that its in the grip of an inflationary spiral.

This wont destabilize the system, it will strengthen the system because people who increasingly hate the system will be convinced that the alternative is even worse, they'll think well fuck, if the Republicans are a bunch of religious extremists, than what the hell are these crazies to the right of them. It'll help keep people on the shitlib plantation. The system is going to collapse regardless, but the question is what comes after, and if people think dissidents are the American taliban they will be less likely to support them. We win by being viewed as less batshit crazy and extremist than the left wing extremists burning down American cities and pulling people out of cars and beating them half to death on the street because they dont publicly cry for every black thug that gets killed while doing something thuggish. We win by being the voice of reason and the ones people trust to save western civilization from anarcho tyranny and left wing authoritarianism.
