Honestly if it was just this sub left idt it would've gotten much bigger. On the other hand if you're saying if none of the censorship ever happened, that would've been interesting to see for sure. I think a lot of the momentum up to 2017 was kind of a deliberate pressure release valve though to be honest and the subsequent collapse was intended to sink the boat they'd released. So I don't know that continuing that momentum would've been productive per se.

The thing about post-2016 right wing culture online is that it had a self-confident and assertive ethos. Almost all of the ideas were complete, total trash, but there was genuine enthusiasm and an attempt to work something out. What the censorship did is push people back into a state of apathy and passivity.
