The individual threat to them is too great. That's the problem with the deracination and atomization that has resulted from the emphasis on economics (muh GDP!) as the most important metric, i.e. too much paper chasing at the expense of everything else. Economics needs to become subservient to culture. Buy land with likeminded people, start farming and becoming as self-sustaining as you can, create a parallel society that has a net input from people going off the reservation to work.
