Putin is caught in a zero sum game.

1. He can't occupy a country of 44 million people who have shown to resist. Imagine the Iraq/Afghanistan/Vietnam disaster times a 100.

2. If he loses, it completely destroys all his credibility, while Russia itself is now cut off from the rest of the world.

My only hope is someone in Putin's inner circle finds a way to yank him out of there and can start peace talks.

I can't get behind dumb and out of touch Boomers. We're now seeing what this final form of stupidity looks like.
