The people who organized the protest, are all White Men or Women.

Except for the Jewish guy and the Metis guy heading the group of truckers.....

Well for starters, 90% of the crowds protesting in Ottawa are White.

This doesn't make the issues at the center of the protest about race

We call this pattern recognition, and seeing these group behaviors will follow us throughout life and help influence many decisions.

For example, take sports. Is it not a fact that Basketball & Football are mostly Black players? There will always be the odd exception like Tom >Brady or Jeremy Lin, but anyone who watches those games knows that it's Blacks who control all the spotlight.

Can you point me to these people? I'm not saying they aren't included, but here are the people leading the negociation talks with the government.

The people protesting don't. But the government, media and any outside observers will. Because that's literally the first thing they see. And that's exactly what they are using as a bludgeon against their campaign. The media notices it's mostly White people, so they convince other non-whites to be against it.

The government has clearly labeled the protest as a White Supremacist Coup, despite the protestors denying that. The truth is, just being opposed to restrictions is not enough to actually win. Especially in a racially mixed country like Canada, where politicians pander to different ethnic groups to maintain support. If the politicians can get away with calling them Nazis, and there is nobody to vote them out, guess who is going to lose? The protestors, once they run out of money, or the riot police decide to arrest them.

Ok, I think I understand what you are saying now, but correct me if I am wrong.

You are saying that while the protests were not about race at the to begin with, it has nevertheless been turned into a very highly racially charged issue due to the strategic needs of the protesters and the polsters/media alike. If that is your point, then I think this is the explanation I was looking for. I can at least understand why some of you hold this view, thanks for being patient with me.

If you are still curious, the people I was referring to are Benjamin Dichter (Jewish) and Tamara Lich (Metis). They appear to be involved in at least some significant fashion.

For the record, I don't actually believe they're White supremacists. And I've seen several on the ground videos with Blacks and other Indians join the rally and protest the restrictions.

But just like statistics, they are exceptions to the norm. I'm willing to bet for every Jewish or Black protestor you find on video, I can name 10x as many Whites participating. And there's nothing wrong with this. This is just demographics.

For Trudeau and the media though, they will keep throwing around the "white supremacist" label because it directly affects how they got voted in. They're happy to sacrifice or alienate any White voters, if it still means they get 90% or more non-whites voting for them. Hence why if you look at a map of how Canada voted last election, any region that was majority non-white automatically went to the Liberal Party. And guess where these major regions are also located? In cities like Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal, who receive the most immigrants every year.

Now do you see where I'm going with this? Politics is a game of chess and both sides will do anything to checkmate the other using any tactic. The protestors are using trucks and loud horns, whereas the government is using race and the media to win.
