So if Canada consults some government approved medical association and under those recommendations adds an additional shot every month for the next year you will comply with that regiment? Is there any scenario where you would oppose a government mandate? Any number of shots? Any frequency?

I'm actually very pro-mandate. In this very thread, I even said the Canadian government's complete negligence in enforcing restrictions has lead to our own healthcare system imploding. So the fear of shots doesn't even begin to register, when we might not even have any Doctors left to help administer them.

See what I'm talking about now? Bringing up conspiracies does less to justify these things than you think. I'm focused on keeping a nation running first just to be able to do anything at all.

He frequently posts studies and data proving his point. You ignore that data and change the subject. Vaccine effectiveness is repeatedly shown to be smoke and mirrors. We've been engaging with you on this topic for at least 6 months. Maybe longer. You constantly lose the argument. You constantly fail to address the information given. Yet you continue to be blindly in support of government mandated medical procedures. Many of the other vaccine shills on this sub at least a degree of nuance in their debates and attempt to argue in good faith. You on the other hand stand out and a blatant contrarian. Some might even say you're engaging in pilpul. What does /u/thejamesrocket even have to do with the questions and warning I issued to you in the first comment? This is just another slide from you.

I could build a time machine and ask you to step inside a hospital and physically count the bodies that had been racking up between August and September 2021, and when the tally shows that unvaxxed are the patients, you will somehow argue it's not real. That type of denial has proven itself to be too destructive in my country, enough people could show up to the polls this year and replace the current party with a much more harsher one that wont bend the knee on restrictions.

And that's why I think it's a mistake for many on the antivax side to keep up a charade. I'm generally a nice guy, and for 2 years, I already listened to all sorts garbled nonsense that has only made my country worse. But given that,

  1. The majority support mandates and are upset the government did nothing to enforce them or sabotaged previous efforts when they were needed

  2. The antivax crowd are a minority and are not needed to support our health infrastructure. In fact, it has been the polar opposite. Their beliefs contributed to draining the system while still claiming all the same benefits from it. On top of allowing other horrors to exist (i.e getting life saving surgeries cancelled or postponed, because doctors were forced to treat them instead of other more deserving civilians).

Then it's time to move on and pass laws that will restore order until something better comes along. You are once again, free to debate the fairness of this, but as Eastern Asian countries have demonstrated, putting national and social ideas first is simply a better way to ride out the pandemic, then letting open border proponents endanger everything.

You're right. After pulling a number of vaxx batches and allowing it's citizens to use Ivermectin, Japan is doing really well!

Japan is 79% fully vaccinated. It could still be higher, especially as I do remember the Japanese government had A LOT of bureaucratic nonsense going on both before and after they held the Olympics, but they've seem to have gotten smarter now.

And the Ivermectin stuff is fake news. It's not even on the list of Japan's government sponsored drugs.

It didn’t seem to be the Japanese government. If you look at Japan’s Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency’s list of Approved Medical Products for Covid-19, you’ll find stuff like remdesivir and baricitinib but no ivermectin. And none of these ivermectin-touting tweets seemed to be from real scientists and other experts from Japan. Why not tweet about Japan when you don’t actually live in Japan because who cares what people in Japan actually think, right?

Yet again you post MSM garbage as if it's a legitimate source.

Link disregarded.

The Forbes article is very preachy for MSM, but every other source confirms that drug itself was never sponsored by their government.

In fact, I found the opposite. The ivermectin came from India, which is obviously not part of Japan...

https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2021/02/21/national/drugs-import-coronavirus/

An increasing number of people in Japan are taking imported COVID-19 drugs that are not authorized for use in the country, prompting public health officials to issue a warning against taking such medicine. Side effects from unauthorized medicines may not be compensated for by the government, the health ministry warned. A woman in her 40s in Shizuoka Prefecture is among those who have imported such drugs. She took ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug produced by an Indian company that is not approved for treating COVID-19 in Japan. She ordered the drug through an import agent after doing her own research, including by reading papers available from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Regardless, these people taking these third party drugs are just delaying the inevitable. Get a vaccine shot which is guaranteed to boost your immune system, and never have to worry about the virus again.

That's why I find the antivax crap hilarious. The vaccines are provided for free, but go ahead and waste your money on another "big pharma" company instead.
