Japan is 79% fully vaccinated. It could still be higher, especially as I do remember the Japanese government had A LOT of bureaucratic nonsense going on both before and after they held the Olympics, but they've seem to have gotten smarter now.

And the Ivermectin stuff is fake news. It's not even on the list of Japan's government sponsored drugs.

It didn’t seem to be the Japanese government. If you look at Japan’s Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency’s list of Approved Medical Products for Covid-19, you’ll find stuff like remdesivir and baricitinib but no ivermectin. And none of these ivermectin-touting tweets seemed to be from real scientists and other experts from Japan. Why not tweet about Japan when you don’t actually live in Japan because who cares what people in Japan actually think, right?

Yet again you post MSM garbage as if it's a legitimate source.

Link disregarded.

The Forbes article is very preachy for MSM, but every other source confirms that drug itself was never sponsored by their government.

In fact, I found the opposite. The ivermectin came from India, which is obviously not part of Japan...

https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2021/02/21/national/drugs-import-coronavirus/

An increasing number of people in Japan are taking imported COVID-19 drugs that are not authorized for use in the country, prompting public health officials to issue a warning against taking such medicine. Side effects from unauthorized medicines may not be compensated for by the government, the health ministry warned. A woman in her 40s in Shizuoka Prefecture is among those who have imported such drugs. She took ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug produced by an Indian company that is not approved for treating COVID-19 in Japan. She ordered the drug through an import agent after doing her own research, including by reading papers available from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Regardless, these people taking these third party drugs are just delaying the inevitable. Get a vaccine shot which is guaranteed to boost your immune system, and never have to worry about the virus again.

That's why I find the antivax crap hilarious. The vaccines are provided for free, but go ahead and waste your money on another "big pharma" company instead.
