How do you explain that away?

First of all, I still wouldn't panic. Are the numbers higher than the total deaths from WW2? If the answer is "no", than we're far from the apocalypse.

As for an explanation, I don't claim to be a morbidity expert, but I would still look at overall infrastructure and quality of life first before making any sweeping generalizations. For example, it's obvious that mortality is higher in the third world than the first world. Why? Dysfunctional governments, who let civil war rip through their nations, which leads to a collapse in medical services or not enough food being distributed equally to prevent deaths.

Ironically, as a Nationalist, I am in favor of promoting a stronger government that is tasked with lowering population mortality. That's kinda the whole point of why I support closing down airports and asking people to be vaccinated. It's being done because the alternative of having no rules is chaos.
