If a European country has the potential to elect a leader who explicitly talks about The Great Replacement, believes his country's identity is linked to it having a White Christian majority, cites Renaud Camus in his speeches, is radically anti-feminist and anti-LGBT, is anti-American and pro-Russia, denounces liberalism and the French Revolution as well as unrestrained capitalism and financialization, I am going to support that leader, even if that leader is Jewish, yes. Especially considering this is a cultured and well-spoken man who clearly understands and cherishes European civilization, unlike the people currently in charge of demolishing it.

Tearing ourselves apart because "muh ugly african jew" seems petty and irresponsible, considering how little time we have left to reverse this dire state of affairs before the demographic point of no-return is reached. I also don't buy the claims that he is a plant. If anything, sanitized and incompetent Marine Le Pen seems to act more as a placeholder, a bulwark against White working-class anger who is guaranteed to lose every contest she takes part in.

What advantage would our enemies derive from replacing eternal loser Le Pen with a more energetic figure who is opening the floodgates for radical, explicit identitarian discourse in Europe while having an actual shot at winning? Wouldn't a plant try to deflect the anger away from White identitarianism (like Trump and Kushner did), instead of fanning its flames and mainstreaming it, like Zemmour has been doing?

Trump played to anti-immigration and America first sentiments on the campaign trail. After taking office, it was all about based blacks, Israel is our greatest ally, dems are the real homophobes and ''I want the largest numbers of immigrants ever, but it has to be done legally".

DR viewpoints had precisely zero representation in the GOP until recently, while in France, the right is very much invested in the issues Éric Zemmour talks about, there is a much stronger countercultural current in France that could sustain his government. I personally believe he would accomplish a lot more than Trump. I also can see no possible advantage for the anti-White camp to have the Great Replacement theory being discussed in presidential debates.

I'm not saying this man is going to be our salvation or anything, as he will probably run into many difficulties if he can actually win. I do not expect a positive agenda to be implemented in its entirety. I am happy enough with the cultural effect this is generating and with the fact that the mainstream immigration debate is now being framed in terms of ethnic and religious demographics for the first time since WWII. That kind of thing is actual accelerationism, literally accelerating the ideological shift. I can see no rational explanation for our enemies to "plant" someone like Zemmour, since time is on their side they'd be better off with Marine ignoring racial replacement and talking about nationalizing roads and holding a 'referendum on immigration' that would never actually happen because she can't get past 1/3 of the vote in a runoff.

'referendum on immigration'

That's the road to electoral victory. The tories under Cameron won by holding a referendum on Brexit.

The thing is that it's likely they're deploying this trojan horse exactly because of the shifting cultural dynamic. The French people have become increasingly fed up with the regime's relentless attacks on their heritage and freedoms and their yellow vest protests were the first of its kind in decades where common white men took to the streets against the state.

It's possible they've deployed Zemmour so he can take over the far-right and neuter this grassroots energy by redirecting it towards saving French ''culture'', assimilating foreigners, and giving Arabs French names. It's reminiscent of the retarded ''French-language'' grift of Quebec nationalists. Their land is being flooded with negro rapists and all they can talk about is how they got schools to teach French or some tripe like that.

Zemmour has been saying the same thing for decades.

Trump was always overrated by the Right. Even in 2016 he only complained about illegal immigration which he still does now. He never mentioned demographics or cheap labour for businesses when attacking illegal immigration nor did he suggest lessening legal immigration.

Trump played to anti-immigration and America first sentiments on the campaign trail.

He never came anywhere close to Zemmour's rhetoric.

potential to elect a leader

Representatives aren't leaders.

Easier comparisons to the Reich, for one. When the boy cries wolf, it suits him to release a dog now and then to tear out some throats, to bolster his lies, if indeed lying is his purpose.

No European majority is that based. We emigrated long ago.

No. The liberal, globalist-minded ones all emigrated and still emigrate to the US and the commonwealth. That's why they're the most liberal places on earth.

A big reason why eastern europe is relatively sane is because most of their liberals emigrated to Western Europe after EU membership.

That's not how it was some centuries ago.

He's probably one of these Americans who thinks that the most profound expression of right wing thought and action is owning a gun and resisting the vax which therefore makes America 'based'.

I see a lot of agreement and mild criticism in the comments but not much slaughtering. There's a couple of very angry Islamists complaining that Zemmour is a 'fascist' though. I love the Unz comment section you never know what you're going to get.

It's a good article though I'm not sure why it would draw so much ire. It also ends on the same note of skepticism I've expressed here namely the question of whether the guy can actually govern.

I read an interesting article by a french alt right writer, I forget the name. He basically explained that Zemmour is part of a wealthy French Jewish community that is sort of neoconnish, except less concerned about Israel and Foreign policy and more concerned about making France safe for Jews, which means reining in Muslim immigration and Islamophilia while also acting as a pressure valve for growing nationalist sentiment that could take an anti-semitic tone.

In other words they arent necessarily what the alt right would view as "our guys" but not necessarily opposition either, but something in between that is somewhat unique to France and it's Jewish population. In the US and most of Europe Jews can generally be divided into anti white globalists(the majority) vs hardline Israel first Zionists(the minority), although both groups are generally still pro Israel, and both groups hate and fear any rise in explicit white nationalism. This French Jewish thing is different and it's really hard to say where it would go. The writer did of course mention that this groups power is almost exclusively tied to Jewish wealth, media influence, and lobbying power, the same as everywhere else.

If you remember the author let me know I'd like to read the article.

Her dad could've led the party much better if he wasn't so old.

    Ironic, because he backs Zemmour.

Anyway, who cares what a bunch of autists in a comments section have to say?
