Disclaimer: The Video was published February 2020, so any future predictions kinda look obsolete to us (the creator acknowledges this). It's also written by a Centrist Zoomer, so expect bias in both directions.
Barring these issues, it actually does a great job explaining how we landed in our current situation, and why it's become so difficult to convince the masses, just how powerful the 1% has become.

Even if you don't want to watch the video, I made some recaps:
-He acknowledges that from the 1990s ~ 2000s, America looked unstoppable. Especially as the Soviets had collapsed and China was rebranding itself as Capitalist and Nationalist.
-However, by the 2010s, America had squandered this vacuum and for the first time, was losing global influence. Russia had successfully regained mindshare, and China was also exerting its own soft power.
-The Arab Spring was the biggest event of last decade. He acknowledges that a few Middle Eastern protests had later gained international attention, as it lead to the Syrian Civil War, European migrant crisis and ISIS inspired terror attacks in the West.
-In fact, he even admits that the migrant crisis and terror attacks on the EU that spawned from these events lead to a serious rise in Right-wing sentiment meant to counter this. It also played an important role in Britain leaving the European Union.
-The internet and smartphones finally became mainstream. Whereas in the 2000s, the internet was still seen as being too nerdy and expensive for the public, by the 2010s, smartphones had eliminated any barriers to the internet, and made global communication simply unavoidable.
-As well as social media had cracked public mindshare as well. In the 2000s, Twitter and Facebook were just footnotes next to other popular websites at the time like 4chan or Newgrounds, but in 2010, Billions of people were now signed up or in direct contact with these sites
-The biggest takeaway is that the internet/social media had replaced journalism. Newspapers were already dying a slow death, but social media sites made sharing billions of articles with other people very fast.
-He also warns that this "cyber fourth estate" has made the Elites even more powerful, especially as he admits that it only takes a few companies in the world to have complete control over the flow of information.
-At the start of the video, he also acknowledges that the early 2010s was still recovering from the 2008 housing crisis and stock market crash. There were protests at Wall Street but they were overshadowed by the events happening in the Middle East at the time.
There's probably more I might have left out, but it's proof that the video was quite informative.
