I agree with you - it seems to me that loners will be easy targets. If you are on your own, your chances of survival are low.

That is something that hit home for me after reading this - https://archive.vn/YkN2v (Surviving A Year of Hell in Wartorn 1990s Bosnia). The writer explicitly states that people on their own - no matter how well armed - were inevitably killed. It was family that mattered most, in which people gathered and patrolled areas together.

I am in a once bright red, rapidly-purpling county in a blue state, and hands down my plan is to get to a majority White large town in a red state. I am in the process of figuring out the best ways to relocate as well as how to build community so it's there when it really counts, so anything else you'd feel like extrapolating on I'm interested in reading.

Came here to post that very article.

I'd be interested in discussing this too.

I think specific locations could be a bit too much (by which I mean it could put a target on their backs), but discussing the best states (or countries) to move to long-term would be great.

Also ways to find or keep a job would be good. And like you said, ways to connect with the community.

I was actually going to post that same article but couldn't find it in time. Thanks for sharing it. Another big inspiration for my thinking about depopulation prepping is a podcast by rebel yell. They go into making covenant communities. There are some really great suggestions in that podcast.

Will do. I'm kinda in the middle of this process myself so I'm learning as I go. We use to have a great sub on reddit called r/200acres that had a lot of knowledgable people already living in off grid and semi off grid situations. It's a shame we lost that group. There's a subverse here but it's not active anymore. I think what I will do with the next post is share out some of the people I follow on youtube and also share out what I'm learning from my new rural neighbors. Unfortunately I will have to be fairly vague because I don't want to dox where I'm at.
