I don't think he was killed at all. I have bad chronic insomnia like MJ did, and the whole thing seems entirely reasonable to me. People don't understand it because they're not up for days at a time, they can take tylenol PM for their trouble sleeping.

When it's severe, only strong meds like major tranquilizers or MJ, of course, eventually turned to Propofol, is all that'll work. And they don't work forever. They can't effectively be used to treat a chronic condition because of that. You have to keep increasing the dose and eventually that gets to a lethal dose.

It's just an uncommon situation so people can't relate to it, but that doctor was doing him a huge favor. What was the alternative? Michael Jackson gets to sleep every three or four days, maybe every week, until it drove him insane? His death was unfortunate but also a mercy.
