I was reading about a certain type of north American finch the other day that is so particular in its mating habits that it won't mate with this other sub-species of finch that ornithologists did not even know know was a separate sub-species until they dissected one and found incredibly minor anatomical differences. Just looking at them they seemed exactly the same but the finch knows and won't mate with them. There's many such cases in nature.

Well you just nailed it. That's exactly the problem with our birth rates and mass immigration there are large scale demographic consequences hence why we oppose it.
