Meanwhile tiny little Croatia who had an entirely homogenous team nearly became champions of the world. If anything that tournament proved the power of having a team of ethnic compatriots but like you said they tried to sell it as a victory for mass immigration.

Indeed, a tiny nation with smaller population got top 11 who almost gave them the trophy, while bigger nations with much larger populations couldn't. It is all about the will and this will is what will get us through this storm when the time is right. Godspeed brother!

    They had around 200-300 million people to choose from vs a nation of 4 million people. I say Croatia did pretty good.

    The former Yugoslavians always punch above their weight too. Especially the Croats. If they played as Yugoslavia still I think they'd probably be one of the best teams in the world. They'd at least be perennial challengers at major tournaments.

    France practically bought its negroes from a dozen different countries. It was no French team, it was a mercenary team no different from a club like Man united. The Croatian team was actually Croatian.
