The traditionally designed vaccines (live-attenuated, think this is how Russia's sputnik vaccine is designed) make sense to me.

You're generating a bunch of epitopes in a sample that can't infect you but that will help your immune system recognize and deal with whatever pathogen they belong to.

The mRNA vaccine is entirely different from this and I'm skeptically about possible long-term auto-immune problems.

I don't know enough about it but the covid stuff is almost entirely hysteria and the lockdowns/vaccine requirements are insane. There's no reason to trust any of it
